There's a Starbucks's in the hotel next door but there's no visible signs to that effect. Margaritaville was a blast and had the best customer service I've experienced in a long while. Pink FLamingo Grille had great ambience, acceptable food and wine list.

1. Inadequate number of carts for check-in/check/out 2. Breakfast selection/quantity/quality poor. 3. Sliding door to balcony broken/could not lock. 4. Shower in the dark - no lights in Bathroon except over sink. 5. Shower curtain sticks to body - irrespective of fan or door open or closed. 6. Housekeeping staff entered room without knocking an awaiting a response. 7. Great beach view 8. Conierge service pleasant but rec'd inaccurate directions x2.

The Ocean Reef Resort was even more than we expected. Our room was very clean. The mattresses and the pillows good. It didn't take two pillows to make one! Our room was on the 12th floor with a balcony overlooking the beach. The seabirds put on an ariel show both mornings at 8:30. We usually stay on the south end of Myrlte Beach but I'm sure we will be back. We like being close enough to everything yet a little removed from the hussle and bussle.

Their is plenty of shopping to do in a very short distance from the hotel. We would recommend The Boardwalk and the aquarium that is there.

This hotel was a great value. It was our first trip to Myrtle Beach and the stay was perfect. The room view overlooking the beach was beautiful. The indoor pool is great for the off season. We are planning on trying to come back again this summer or early fall and we will certainly stay here again.

Overall the hotel was a great deal. We enjoyed a room with all of the amenities such as the regrigerator, cooking stove and utensils, microwave. Only a few negatives...parking was very limited adjacent to hotel so we had to park our car a few blocks away at times and the smoke from the cigatettes from the lounge was quite strong for non-smokers like us. But we would definitelt stay here again.

It was an ok stay. They shut off the water to the hotel for an entire day. Will be nice once they are done with the remodel.

Dining, entertainment, and shopping are all just minutes away........of course the beach is right there!

The Ocean Reef Resort was an overall pleasant experience. Once the check-in was completed I was free to do as I pleased without any problems or interruptions from the resort staff. However, if I needed anything they were ready and able to accommodate. The only drawback I experienced was the fact that there was no business station are for guests to log on to a computer to check emails, etc. I found this an obvious ommission to normal ammenities for guests. The room was very nice, spacious, and I enjoyed the balcony. All in all, I will look forward to staying there again on a future trip to the area.

Broadway on the Beach is very near with alot to see and do!

We loved our room. To wake up and see the horizon on the 11th floor, ocean front, perfect! We will stay here again in the near future and would recommend to everyone we know.

Come for the beach, stay for the pools.

This hotel is right on the beach which is really great, but it also has a half dozen pools. These include a regular pool, hot tubs, lazy river and kiddy pool. The water is comfortable and there are ample pool chairs and a pool side bar. Overall the hotel is very comfortable with great rooms with balconies that overlook the ocean. Tons of parking and close to all Myrtle Beach activities. The only serious demerit is the cafe in the hotel, the food is only average and the wait service was not friendly as usually expected in a southern restaurant. But altogether one of the most pleasant hotel stays I have ever had.

very nice room with a great view of ocean but would have liked a king size bed , was close to everything. would stay there again if in MYRTLE BEACH AREA.
