The heated pool was very nice in December.

Very nice hotel. I liked the location. Rooms were clean. I stayed there in August, 2006, that's why I decided to go back in December, 2006. I loved the large rooms. It can very well accomodate a family with the wall bed and sleeper sofa.

It's right on the beach.

The Monterrey Bay Suites in Myrtle Beach had some of the best customer service I've encountered in a long time. Not only was the concierge very helpful in making dinner suggestions and providing information, the front desk staff the entire three nights was personable and friendly. They were very helpful in giving directions and offering suggestions. I would stay there again.

Boardwalk at the Beach was a great place just a short drive away. There was shopping, dining, and entertainment. Something for everyone.

This was a great hotel. With all the pools, lazy river and direct access to the ocean there was plenty to do. Also, the hot breakfast was nice so you didn't have to leave the hotel in the morning. I will definetly stay here again.

everything is a short drive from this hotel if you eat dinner during peak season it is best to go early around 330 400 some great places to eat are romandos chalupas fuddruckers and margaritaville and of course the original Benjamins

This place is an excellent place to stay the staff is very friendly the neighborhood is great it is probaly the nicest area I ve stayed in MB and I ve been there probaly 20 times this hotel is very kid friendly I would recommend this place to everyone

Tanger Outlets

The hotel was being renovated and we were the first people to stay in our room so everything was clean and new. My daughter loved all the pools. It was in a great location.

lunch at the nearbt river cafe...the chicken salad is great, very casual and relaxed and inexpensive. across the street 3 blocks is cheeseburger in paradise...about 3 miles down the road is benjamins buffet...$24.99 coupons take off $2 are all over...the buffet rivals any in Vegas.

This place is nice. The parking garage is "tight", only the bottom floor takes bigger vehicles. The rest are tight spaces and tight curves, but not really that bad as to not stay here. There are 3 elevators. On a few occassions, when everyone is on them, it takes a bit (normal). On most occassions, they are fine (they work, no problem with them). The rooms and the place overall are fine, very nice. Unless you are a difficult person no matter what, you will miss out on a nice place. The breakfast buffet was very good...get there at 9am and no wait. The place is clean and is in good shape....there are always upgrading. Stay here...you will like it, and so will the kids if you bring any, including yourseld.

car rental is a must if you are out of town

my husband and i came to celebrate my b-day and we were very comfortable staying here. so we probably will come back again with our kids.the elevator was kinda slow though.other than that it was a great stay. location was good too.

Good shopping nearby also.

There are no perks in this hotel. It was mostly clean, but definitely not luxurious. I would recommend it only to people who want an inexpensive hotel.
