Most recent user reviewsScore 5 out of 5 excellent accomadations Patricia, Atlanta, GA, 2006-05-29 there are places to eat breakfast such as cracker barrel and dinner such as 'the house of blues"this condo was excellent. the place is very clean, very spacious and all the comforts of home. it will easily accomadate 8 people. Score 5 out of 5 Quiet, upscale resort Anonymous, 2006-05-17 Since resort was so large, walking to outside attractions would have been long- a short drive over the bridge and the House of Blues was right next to the resort!Barefoot resort was a little further from North Myrtle than expected, but closer to restaurants and attractions we were interested in. Large resort area with clean, good sized condos- outdoor pool nearby, swanky golf club, good resort restaurant. Hotel staff were excellent, but it wasn't a very busy time for them. Next to house of blues a big plus. The only unpleasant aspect was the bed- had one of those plastic sheets that made it uncomfortable and crinkly.. once removed, it was much better. Would definitely stay here again. Score 4 out of 5 Location, Location Anonymous, Columbia, SC, 2006-04-16 OutletsWe were visiting this hotel as a family. We all booked seperatly as we did last year when we came as a family. This hotel has rooms that are 2 miles from each other. I love the North Tower rooms; however, if you are going with a group of people you need to book together to be close. If that was not an issue, the view was great of the golf course. I think is is a little expensive to not be within walking distance to the ocean. Score 5 out of 5 Great Getaway Anthony, 2006-04-16 There is a restaraunt on site and The House of Blues is actually about 2 minutes from the resort. Barefoot landing is just around the way and it has lots of shopping outlets to visit. Our stay at Barefoot Resort was wonderful. The room had more space than what we expected and the decor was exquisite! We loved the color scheme, furniture, and accessories. Our family felt right at home. The rooms were spotless and the hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. From the balcony we had the pool/marina view and the atmosphere was very relaxing. I feel that you would really enjoy your experience at Barefoot and the beach is only 5 minutes away. Score 4 out of 5 Family - not a hotel Anonymous, Durham/Raleigh, NC, 2006-03-19 close to shopping and restaurantsPillows were not usable the first night - like bricks - hotel staff replaced them the next day. The bathrooms do not have any counter space and it can make hair, makeup, etc. difficult. Do not expect hotel amenities. Location is great and the condo was large - the condo was clean - you had the basics but it was not a luxury hotel. Score 5 out of 5 Off the Chain Jimika, Fayetteville, NC, 2006-02-19 All of my friends love this room and so did I. It was home away from home for us. We were totally comfortable and wished we could stay later. There was so much to do just in our area and we could not get it all done. That was a great feeling. To know a hotel has more to offer than you can get in on in one weekend. Cool. This hotel is a 5 in our book. We gonna book it for Bike week and end of Summer Vacation. What a great place to stay. Score 5 out of 5 Amazing deal! Heather, Wilmington, DE, 2005-10-01 Perfect place to stay if you are going to House of Blues. Hotel directly behind it, could walkBarefoot resort and golf was amazing! The golf villas were very spacious and comfortable, with every ammenity needed. We prepared dinner there, and the kitchen was fully equipped and beautiful. Bathrooms were roomy and well stocked, plenty of towels. Overall we were extremely pleased and would absolutely return! Loved it!!! Very reasonably priced also. Amenities limited to a small pool. No activities. Score 5 out of 5 WE LOVED IT!!! Anonymous, Petersburg, AK, 2005-07-22 My family and I loved every second we spent at this resort.
