Most recent user reviewsScore 5 out of 5 Hidden Treasure Catherine, 2007-02-19 I stayed at this hotel for a weekend getaway with my husband. We loved it! The location was great, it was close to good restaurants in Mt. Pleasant and close enough to downtown Charleston. Our room was wonderful, the bed was so comfortable. We had a balcony overlooking the marsh so that we could see the beautiful sunset. We had a wonderful time and would definately stay there again! It is undergoing renovation so things are a little out of place. You cannot get a better location in Mt. Pleasant. It is close to everything. Score 5 out of 5 Great Value Dee, 2006-04-11 Just over the Cooper River Bridge is downtown Cahrleston, SC. There is shopping, dining and nightlife all within 6 miles. The Shem Creek Inn is in a wonderful location if you want to just kick back and relax. Their is a cabana bar that overlooks the Shem Creek. You can sit outside and enjoy the atmosphere and you might eve see a dolphin swim up in the Shem Creek. Score 2 out of 5 Unfriendly and unclean Anonymous, Columbia, SC, 2006-03-05 When we checked in the clerk was not friendly at all. I asked her if she was having a bad day and she said no. I asked her to smile then. When we got into the room there was a used condom on the bedspread. Score 2 out of 5 Great location, great view, past its prime Anonymous, 2006-02-21 The Shem Creek in is located in a great spot, right on Shem Creek and near many restaurants and clubs. It is fun to sit on the private deck and watch the action on the creek -- the pleasure boats and working shrimp boats making their way up and down the creek. The room was spacious, but the hotel is definitely long overdue for a face lift. The bathroom was very much in need of renovation. |
