This continued throughout the staterooms and facility....very clean and tidy. The room was larger than all that we stayed at on this trip and was well appointed with separate desk and work area along with a table and two chairs. The vanity outside the bathroom provides for more space when two individuals must shower and get ready to depart in the morning. The breakfast included exceeded our expectations.........way beyond a simple continental. Nice pool and fitness center. I would certainly recommend it to anyone that is planning a stay over in Georgetown....great value. Score 5 out of 5 Great Value Anonymous, New York, NY, 2005-08-02 Ask for a room facing the back. You'll get a lovely view of the marsh and an old bridge spanning the river.I stayed in the Jameson Inn on Saturday 07/30/05 and was happy with the room and the rates. Although several children had been let loose by thier parents upstairs, I never heard them while I was in my room. Some motorcyclists arrived that evening, but the room was insulated enough to dampen thier noise to a reasonable muffle. Hot water, a very clean room and good airconditioning at half the rate the Holiday Inn down the street was charging. The fitness center was small and I diod not use it. The pool did not look inviting, but neither was it dirty. The free breakfast wasn't my style - too much carbs & sugar and no fruit. Over all, though, I would stay here again very happily. |
