Extrmely noisy motel....doors slamming all hours of night, baby crying next door, etc.

Make sure if you wantt o swim you call ahead and check on the pool,

When we got there we had plans of swimming the first day and then going to carowinds for our second day and well the pool wasnt open and we basically spent a day sitting in a room that smelled like dead fish. The front lobby check in was awful. they couldnt get me checked in and they checked in 3 other people while i was waiting. because the one lady that was checking me in didnt know what she was doing and instead of the manager helping her with me he got a few others then had to come back and help her with mine.

Can't beat the price

Your choice of Shoney's, Kentucky Fried Chicken, or El Cancun (Mexican), it's just a 2 minute walk.

Obviously there are nicer hotels. But if you just want a clean room, courteous service, great location right off the interstate, shuttle to downtown Charlotte for only 50 cents, and a price tag that won't hurt your wallet, this is your place.

The motel 6 was clean and i was able to get a good nights rest for the remainder of my journey.
