A theme park

If your going to a near by park and only going to use the facilities for sleeping, its a ok place to stay. It needs a little remodeling help and some ice machines on each floor would be convienent.

Carowinds - I think it is an amusement park or water park.

The room had a musky smell to it and the desk area was too small. The front desk was very accommodating and brought up another desk the following day. My room was cleaned every day by a hospitable staff who asked every day if there was anything else I needed. The hallways were extremely hot everyday. Elevator one would stop on different floors than what number you pushed. (example; push floor 5 and it would stop on floor 3) The phone system was extremely poor. The phone in my room never worked. The front desk said they had to unlock it from the front desk, which they could not get working. (Tough since there are no public phones in the premise.) One guest on my floor had a cat that cried all night long. The only reason that I stayed was because of the staff. Since I worked long hours, I needed a clean room and a place to shower. I would not stay in this facility again because it is old and antiquated. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

The pool was full of algae infested water and the rooms were not clean at all. This place needs some serious staff and hotel updating.

Off-brand hotel, not worth staying in

The rooms were very spacious, but the room was not clean (there was a huge stain on the bed), the shower barely worked (and the showerhead location was more appropriate for a child than an adult), and the staff was not knowledgeable and not helpful (the night staff had a 6pack of beer at the desk with him, and the checkout staff tried to charge me for my room a second time). Don't go!
