BAD accomidations

This motel is just a few minutes drive to Ft. Jackson, and it is very easy to get to post from this hotel

About one third or the staff were friendly, however, the hotel was overall bad. All the ice machines were broken. The air conditioner was broken, and was leaking, and had been for a while, due to the fact that the carpet and room smelled of mildew very badly. I am not a picky person at all, but this was very unacceptable. I asked to be moved into another room, and the room i was moved into had a good air conditioner. I also got chastized by the staff who called and asked my if I was abusing my daughter because they heard her crying. Anyone who has children knows that it can be difficult to get a 13 month child to bed in a new environment. That was very upsetting. I was told I would get a discount, and upon checking out, they told me that wasn't happening.

Convenient location, friendly staff

Great cafe just a short walk away. Many more restaurants just a short drive away.

I needed a place close to Fort Jackson and this hotel was just two exits off the 77. Also surrounded by all the conveniences. The staff was very friendly. I was a little wary of traveling by myself and never having been to Columbia, but my experience was very positive.
