Most recent user reviewsScore 2 out of 5 Staff Professional Anonymous, 2005-11-17 Hotel and Dining shares same parking area, drug store across the street, and a strip shopping area within walking distance.I must admit, for the price of the rooms, that should have been a red flag for me. This Hotel definitely was not at the level of hotels I have stayed at in the past. The staff members was willing to assist, but there was much to be desired. I will not stay at another Travelers Lodge,if at all possible. We would have left without staying one night, but my credit card still would have been charged for those nights. I will not allow myself to ever be placed in that position again. Score 1 out of 5 Pictures can be deceiving anna, 2005-08-21 Cracker Barrel, Burger King, Sports Bar with wings.I knew this was one of those hotels that like a great value until you actually get there. When I walked into the lobby to check in, the smell was so bad, I almost wanted to walk away then but I had already paid over the internet. It was humisd, the doors were open, and so I figured there must have been some type of overflow in the bathroom and they were "airing" it out. The room also had a smell, similar to Mexican food. There were 3 lamps in our room in which none of them worked. One lamp had a broken switch so I had to use a towel to turn it on so I wouldn't cut my finger. When I called down to the desk to ask for assistance with the lights, I was told that someone would be up with lightbulbs right away. 45 minutes later, no one. Normally this would not have been a problem but I had to get ready and could not see. I called again. This time I was told that there is only one staff member on duty after 6:00pm. 20 minutes later, he arrived with light bulbs and still the lights did not work. I was told that tomarrow, maintenance will fix it and if not, we will be moved to another room. The next evening, no new room and no working lights. The mattresses were stained on the sides with colors that I did not want to think about how they got there. I do not recommend this hotel!! I have enjoyed other Travel Lodges but this one is owned independently and the "owners" are not customer conscience. |
