Most recent user reviewsScore 1 out of 5 Don't Stay Anonymous, 2005-09-20 Restaurants in the area servicing ethnic foods, that were taste and with walking distanceUpon arrival at the Columbia-Northwest Knights Inn the hotel manager informed me the room was being cleaned. After 15 minutes the Manager gave me the room key and I went to see the appearance of the room. I looked under the bed, that need to be cleaned and vacuumed, the boxspring mattress was dirty, I did not dare go to the mattress for what I would fine, the furniture was tatered (I would not put any of my close inside the drawers). I returned immediately to the front desk and gave the key to the Manager telling him I was not staying. This place is a real "flea and tick" spray deal. The motel looked like something out of a sleezy movie where people meet for things I will not mention, and we later found out from others in the area, that this particular motel had been "busted for various unlawful things". We were extremely tired and frustrated. The desk clerk at the motel was not very friendly, and not very helpful. The hotel was better than the "trashy" hotel we had reservations at, but it did not have the amenaties whe had searched for and was even further from Fort Jackson, placing additional miles on the rental car from the driving around in efforts to find a room as well as the additional miles to our destination for the weekend, not withstanding the cost of gas these days!! |
