Although, the hotel completed a few renovations, there are still a number of improvements and upkeep needed. The sheets on the bed were old and very flimsy. The pillows were very worn also. We requested extra towels from the front desk, of which we never received. Most hotels have coffee available to take to your romm in the mornings. I contacted the front desk and inquired if they had this service available. I was told they did. To my surprise it was coffee I had to purchase in the resterauant. Overall it is not a hotel that I would return to. Score 4 out of 5 Great Business Amenities Anonymous, 2005-10-21 I was only there for a short while, but I noticed that there was a Mexican Restaurant within a mile of the hotel. The room I stayed in didn't have great circulation and smelled a little moldy. Other than that, my stay was pleasant. Summer heat may convince you to drive over. Krispy Kreme down the road 2 or 3 miles. The pool was clean, the gym area offers alot of choices in machines and tread mills. The resturant is your basic hotel resturant. Nothing bad nothing to write home about. Coffee could have been stronger. Score 5 out of 5 First experience with Town & Country Anonymous, Broken Hill, 2005-09-05 If you like IHOP there is a great one close by. It is small and is crowded but worth the wait if you have too. Krispy Kreme has a location near as well, good coffee. Our first experience with Town and Country was very pleasant. We have a sick relative that requires monthly visits to Charleston. Our room was large with a nice comfortable king size bed. I did like having the bathroom separate from the vanity are. But I did not like having the fan come on with the bathroom light; it was loud. Plus did not like the fact that the bathroom door would not stay cracked while taking a shower and drying off. The table and chairs seemed a little worn. Maybe time for an upgrade. We would have liked extra pillows in the room but I am sure all we had to do was check with the front desk, which we never did. I would have liked the hotel to have been further up the Savannah Highway but it wasn't bad. We never did eat in the restaurant. We were busy eating at other places close by. We did see guests with their pets which was helpful information should we have to bring our pet next time. We will definitely stay at this hotel on our next visit. Hopefully, we will try the restaurant. Score 2 out of 5 Don't judge a book by it's coer Anonymous, 2005-08-12 Don't judge this book by it's cover. The hotel is in a somewhat industrial area. The lobby / dining area are nice. You drive around to your room and it looks like a cheap motel, but the rooms are nice. Luckily for us someone else checked out and we got a room for the full costs. Then, at check-out, they told us they had input our reservation in for the wrong date, again, a lie. The hotel did nothing to reconcile its mistake and I would never recommend it to anyone. Score 5 out of 5 Review of the Town & Country Inn Monica, Greenville, SC, 2005-07-04 Overall we were satisfied with our room. It was clean and had everything we needed. But we were especially happy with the in-door and out-door swimming pools, as well as the fitness center. These facilities combined with the affordable room rates will certainly bring us back to the Town & Country Inn in the future.
