The entire complex is geared toward relaxation. The pool is showing its age, but the grounds are well kept. The breakfast was wonderful. The best grits I have ever tasted. It is a place to go and be able to relax, and enjoy the beautiful scenery. They have walking paths, hammocks to relax on, benches to sit on and enjoy the Ashley river view. The room was very clean, the bathtub large enough for two. Shutters for privacy, or to let the sun/moonlight come in. If you like the outdoors woodsy feel, then you will definetely love this place. The drive is worth it! The Middleton Plantation is a short walk away and a must see!! We had no complaints, will plan to stay longer next time!! |
