The market, the shops, any dining experience you want, rooftop bars or neighborhood pubs, carriage rides, close to the incredible views of the water.This was our first visit to the Market Street Inn. We loved the idea of being above the Charleston market. The cozy outdoor area was like an oasis, tucked away just a few steps from the bustle of the market. The innkeepers were delightful. We felt like we were visiting friends. They are updating several things about the rooms; we would definitely stay again. Fresh flowers in the room, friendly dog, good breakfast. Score 5 out of 5 Great Romantic Getaway JESSICA, 2006-05-21 Everything was close by. We were right downtown in the middle of everything. The horse drawn carriage rides were right outside of out door. The market was just across the street. Shopping, eating, bars, ghost tours, anything you could think of was with 10 mins walk at the most. Great location!!The innkeepers were really great. They really wanted to make sure my husband and I were happy with our accomadations. They offered us complimentary beer/wine upon our arrival and told us all the best places to eat within walking distance from the inn. I would highly recommend this place for anyone with pets, but no children. There was not a pool, and the vibe is more young couple than family. |
