Most recent user reviewsScore 4 out of 5 Fantastic Location Karen We were very pleasanly surprised with the location and size of the rooms. We were expecting a small efficiency apartment. Instead, we found a two story loft with a full kitchen and a balcony overlooking Charleston's Market. It was within walking distance of all attractions, restaurants and shopping. We will definitely stay there again. Score 5 out of 5 excellent location!! great for families howard, Hendersonville, NC in the heart of charleston. room layout excellent for children. staff was very helpful. Score 5 out of 5 Great Place to stay Bethany, Charlotte, NC, 2007-03-11 The Church Street Inn may appear to be lacking some of the ammenities you normally exspect out of a hotel, however what they do offer makes up for it. THe Church Street Inn has a great townhouse style rooming that makes you feel at home and not like you are cramped between 4 hotel room walls. The location is excellent! To go to the market or any part of historic Charleston you simply must walk out the front door. The hotel does not offer any dinning but every room has a full kitchen and there are hundreds of dinning options within walking distance. This is the only place I will stay in Charleston. If you love the historic district this is the place to stay. Score 5 out of 5 Excellent location Susan, Savannah, GA, 2007-02-25 Good music scene close to hotel, all within walking distance, or a quick pedie cab ride. We went to The Music Farm, which is a intimate music venue for bigger bands to play at. There was live music late night in at least 4 bars closeby.Upon arrival, the hotel greeted us promptly. The room was spacious... I enjoyed having one and half bath, upstairs and downstairs. My husband especially liked the two seperate areas b/c he likes to stay up late and watch tv, and I don't.... it was wonderful not to be disturbed! The kitchen area was a bonus, athough we did not cook anything, it was great to have a place to put leftovers from resturants in the refrid and heat them up later. The location was wonderful, across from the market, shopping and tons of resturants. We did not need our car the whole weekend. The hotel staff was very friendly, and spoke to us every time we were coming or going. Good suggestions on dining locations. The only complaint I could have, and it's minor, is that the upstairs bathroom needed some work, and the shower curtain was too short which caused water to be all over the floor. Other than that, I would recommend this hotel, and I do plan on staying again. Score 4 out of 5 Perfect Location with a wonderful homey atmosphere William, Chicago, IL, 2007-02-03 The proximaty to the market and restaurants makes this the perfect choice while staying in Charleston. The Church Street Inn is the perfect location while visiting Charleston, SC. Charge for parking was $12.00 per day and we didn't get our car out the whole time we were there. We really enjoyed our stay at The Church Street Inn.
