So Don't forget to get ice cream it was terriffic!The only good things were location and food. The hotel room was not very clean. No shower curtain. Broken ashtray. Alarm clock didn't work correctly. Everything else was booked. So we had to stay there. We left one day early as well. Score 4 out of 5 My review of Days Inn Beaufort/Parris Island karen, Newark, NJ, 2006-09-23 the marine shop in the lobby was ideal.every staff member encountered was exceptional. very friendly, helpful and hospitable. despite excellent housekeeping, i did experience bed bug bites as did my sister and niece who had another room at the same hotel. I went to the continental breakfast at the hotel at 6:00 a.m. and everything was gone - so if it wasn't for the restaurant next door....need I say more.When I stayed at this hotel because my son was graduating from boot camp, it was great because it was so close, but housekeeping stunk. They had coffee pots in the room but no one left anything there to make coffee. I ordered a smoking room, but no ashtrays came with the room. When I left a note on the mirror about this, nothing was done and the note was still there when I came back at night. When I moved the garbage can, there was a beer lid near it. Did not have a beer in the room at all - so that tells you they don't move things if they vacuum. Food was good.Days Inn Easy to locate King size bed,comfortable two chairs,love seat,plenty of dresser and hanging space,refrigerator,microwave resteraunt next door,within walking distance Pool,did not use,looked clean,grounds fairly clean for such a large place.
