Most recent user reviewsScore 4 out of 5 OK Stay Kevin, 2007-03-11 Hotel was a good value. Staff courteous but not overly friendly. The room was clean and had a great view of the ocean. Score 5 out of 5 Great place to stay Sonya, Durham/Raleigh, NC, 2007-03-11 I was able to catch a shuttle to the casino boat right there at the hotel. The Sandcastle Resort staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The facilities offered everything from inhouse dining/room service to indoor pool and hot tub. I would recommed this resort to anyone. It is a very short drive and for those who like to walk it would not take long to get there on foot as wellThe Sand Castle South of Myrtle Beach is an extremely nice hotel. It was vey clean and comfortable. My husband and I really enjoyed the stay. The ocean view from the window was absolutely fantastic. I was able to watch people on the beach with horses and to me it was the most amazing view. I like the fact that it was not exactly at the shops so that it was peacful but yet close enough to get there. I would recommend this motel to all my friends and relatives. It will be a great family motel with all the accomodations it has. The staff deserve a big hand for all their help they provided us while we were there. We went to a few shows within 15 minutes drive and hit some nightlife at Broadway at the Beach (10 minutes up the road). If you want something centrally located then this is the spot. The room was a regular hotel room but the view was fantastic. We looked out to the ocean when we were in the room. The pool was nice and the hot-tub was fantastic. If you want a place to stay with some amenities and a clean room as well as a nice view then this is the place. Score 4 out of 5 The Weekend Before The New Year's Tawana, Charleston, SC, 2005-12-31 If you want to shop, then there is plenty are plenty of malls, outlets, and a flea market that you can go to that is within short distance of the hotel. Whatever it is that you want to eat, there are numerous restaurants to choose from. The Sandacastle Oceanfront Resort is a pretty decent hotel to stay for and considering the price I paid right before the New Year's made it even more enjoyable. Although it was cold, I still enjoyed my balcony to sit and take in the ocean view and smell. With all the restaurants to choose from and shopping centers within a short distance, I actually saved a lot in gas, considering the high gas prices. I would definately recommend and stay to this hotel again in the near future.... Score 5 out of 5 great getaway Anonymous, Greenville, SC, 2005-09-05 Broadway at the beachThe Sandcastle was a very nice getaway. We were looking for a nice and comfortable place to get away for a weekend and It met our expectations and then some. Everything was within reasonable distance from the Sandcastle and the amenities like the poolside bar were welcomed. I t was a very nice get-away and look forward to using it again. Score 4 out of 5 Accommodations Anonymous, Greensboro, NC, 2005-07-31 Not real close to quality dining spots or amusement parks.A little pricey for amenities provided. Needs more updating with decor, dishes, utensils, and dining options. Great that you had a kitchenette and oceanfront view, but not one of the nicer condos. Presented as a family resort, but a lot of alcohol and obviously drunk guests at the pool. Score 4 out of 5 Review Anonymous, 2005-07-24 No review provided by user |
