Lots of dining was within 2 miles. Definitely need to drive.

The Peppertree Ocean Club was definitely geared toward families that were planning on saving a little money. They made it very easy for them to fix their own meals and not have to leave the hotel facilities. We fixed our own breakfast and lunch in our kitchen and then went our to eat each evening. It was not too far from most of the dining but you definitely had to drive to get there. It was not a very fancy hotel but everything seemed clean. We did see a cockroach in our kitchen which was a big strike in my book. I would never stay there again because of that.

the room was great but we couldn't see the ocean unless we stood on chairs. would have been great if the room was on second or higher floor

There is a K&W cafeteria on Highway 17 N, just a couple of miles from the motel.

Everything was in place at the desk when we arrived. The clerk explained the amenities, location of the room and was very friendly. The room itself was comfortable, fashionably furnished and very clean. The only feature I feel could be improved on would be to locate the t.v. to be viewable from the bed. The view of the ocean and pools was breathtaking!

It's a short drive to IHOP, Waffle House, and Bob Evans family restaurant.

Ocean Club Resort was very comfortable, the room was larger than we expected. The staff made sure we understood the rules, inform of all the activites available to us, and greeted us in a very respectful way. The room had everything that you needed for your stay, plates, cups, silverware, extra sheets, blankets, trashbags, coffee maker, toaster, stove, refrigerator, microwave, dish detergent, and dish washer detergent. The motel was located on Ocean Blvd and it was close to Main Street and you could practically have your choice of restaurants, and shopping malls. Everything was easily accessible. This will truly be my choice for future vacations and I have shared this with my relatives and friends.

Broadway at the Beach was a short drive away and had alot to do during the day and at night. There was also shopping and several restaurants nearby. Must eat at Miyabi Japanese Steakhouse...great experience and great food.

great location on the beach with a balcony view of the ocean. No restaurant in the hotel and no daily housekeeping, but you can call to request it. The room smelled moldy but looked very clean. Having a frig, microwave, kitchen area and DVD player was nice. No TV in the bedroom. Overall, it was worth the money.

My kids and I had a nice stay. The room was clean and the unit looked as though it had been recently decorated. Excellent view of the ocean from the balcony. We had to call the front desk for a very minor issue, but it was resolved within minutes. Since they had multiple facilities, pools and hot tubs were never crowded. The kitchen is well-stocked so that we were able to do cooking. Plenty of towels and other supplies already in the unit, with more readily available. If you go out in the evening and stay out late (past 11 or later), be prepared to park in the lot across the street (not a big deal). Overall a nice place to stay for families.
