worth what we paid

Chilis, Coddinton Brewery, downtown newport restaurants are a short drive. You probably could walk to some places but its too busy a road.

The price was right for what we had. The breakfast buffet was very nice and well worth the price. Waffles, ceral eggs bacon potatoes danish. The room was clean. That was my biggest concern. My biggest dissapointment was that they were still under renovation. I think they just need to gut it and start all over. It looks like its being done a little bit here , a little bit there with nothing completely done. Like I said it was fine for what we paid. If your looking for a special place for a special weekend then I would look elsewhere but if your not going to be spending much time in the hotel itself then its fine

Dirty, dirty, dirty

a short drive into Newport but otherwise not worth the effort.

Very dark inside the corridors; very dark in the rooms and very, very dirty carpet. I would not walk without shoes on. Small rooms, but if they had been clean it would be okay, but they were not. It was convenient for Newport area but I will never stay there again.

we checked in and checked out 15 minutes later they are renovating maybe it will be better after the renovations but right now i would not recommend anyone staying here.

Hotel under renovation

Have their phone number handy to call if you need directions. Close to Newport. Lots of chain restaurants and strip-mall shopping. O.K. location.

This Hotel is marked Ramada Inn on the sign - it was difficult to find - rode around for a while and had to phone to get directions, although I had passed it several times. The Hotel is under renovation; Room smelled of smoke; breakfast was minimum. Carpets were dirty. Kids liked indoor pool - this is why I chose this hotel. An O.K. place to sleep. It should be nice once complete; but then I'm sure the price will be far more - 2/06

The room was extremely small for the money! The bathroom was also very small! I was very dissappointed with these accommodations.

We knew that we were staying outside of Newport so we knew what to expect for the location. The staff was very friendly and accomodating. We know that the hotel is going through renovations but some areas were really dirty. They tried to make it upscale with the Champagne Happy Hour but it needs alot more work to be upscale. It's a little pricey for the location and how it looks. We might stay there again if we can't find something closer and less expensive.

For my first time I staying here I was impressed with how clean and friendly the hotel and staff were. I am planning another trip in September and I plan on staying at this hotel.
