Great entrees and unlimited side dishes. The Ramada State College is located colse to many attractoins such as Bryce Jordan Center, Beaver Stadium, and various wineries. It is also convenient to shopping and dining. The pool area is beautiful, clean and well kept. The room was adequate. Anonymous, 2006-12-08 Multiple fast food places as well as several sit down restaurants in the area. Restaurant in hotel is well rated.Nice room and very clean. Fitness room very small, however, and no fridge in the room. I was there for 4 nights and that would've been very handy. However, all in all, very good experience. Score 5 out of 5 Great restaurant and pool deborah, 2006-09-01 We had a very pleasant stay. The rooms were very very clean.Restaurant was wonderful. indoor pool was beautiful. Score 1 out of 5 ramada inn should be closed down adrian, Fort Lauderdale, FL, 2006-08-04 close to downtown.Upon check in my room, the air conditioning was at 40 degrees and was still blowing hot or almost no air. Maintenance showed up and explained to me that he had to go in the back room and check it out. He came back 2 minutes later and related to me that if it still didn't blow cold air he would have to take out the coils and condenser and clean it out in my room!! I asked for another room, management declined. The bathroom sing would get clogged up everytime I would shave or brush my teeth. If you made coffee from the coffee pot, they would charge you 10$ to your bill. The breakfast bar was horrible, food not fresh. Bathroom, very dirty, very dirty shower curtain. Everytime I would leave the room, and come back at night, I had to bring my card to the registration desk because I couldn't get in my room. This was everyday, I would get back to my room, couldn't get in because my card was not programmed properly, especially one day, I had to go back twice, because they still didn't program it right the first time. Never again, Ramada Inn, any where in the states, I don't recommend it to anyone. Score 2 out of 5 Mediocre Accomodations Anonymous, 2006-04-15 There is a nice small strip center a short ride from the hotel with a market and a drug store, amongst others. This hotel used to be a motel and at some point they put a roof over a section that used to be outdoors and now they call it a conference center. The accomodations are mediocre at best. Stay at your own risk. Score 5 out of 5 very comfortable stay Anonymous, 2005-12-10 Penn State Campus is a very short drive from the hotel. The downtown State College areas shopping and entertainment are also a very short drive. While we didn't spend a lot of time at the hotel while we were in town, it was very comfortable and well taken care of. I like the fact that there is a restaurant right in the hotel with others near by. It is also a short drive to Penn State campus and downtown State College. It is a very nice place to stay. Otherwise it is a good hotel and I will recommend it. |
