Great spot

Lots of historical sites within walking distance, as well as lots of cafes and restaurants. There's a great breakfast spot a block away going toward the river.

The Omni Hotel at Independence Park overlooks the old buildings from the 1700s in the park. The Liberty Bell is two blocks away. The area around the hotel is a mix of old historical buildings with modern buildings mixed in. There is a lot to do within waliking distance. The room was large, with a comfortable bed and large screen LCD TV mounted on the wall. The staff was very attentive and courteous. The concierge was helpful giving tips for places in the area to visit. The spa had recently been renovated and was very nicely done. All in all, a great experience. We would definitely stay here again.

Great Location

It is one block from most of the historical sights of Philadelphia and also close to the buses that will take you all over Philadelphia. This is a great way to see the city if you have a limited amount of time

I was very satisfied with the hotel and the room that we had. They allowed me to check in early which gave us added time to sight see. The staff was very helpful with directions, taxis and overall stay. For the short stay that we had the location was perfect.

Great room & wonderful Sunday brunch

Liberty Bell Plaza is right next door and the Philadelphia water front is a few blocks away.

My wife and I had a quick get away weekend at the Omni in Philadelphia. The room was lovely and the Sunday brunch was superb. The hotel's location is prime if you are a tourist being in the heart of old city. Would certainly choose this hotel again and the price was reasonable for Philadelphia during a crowded Parents Weekend for the University of PA.

THE PERSONEL AT THE OMNIHOTEL AT INDEPENDENCE PARK, PHILADELPHIA MAKE EVERY EFFORT TO SATISFY THE GUEST. THE DOORMAN, BELLMEN, HOTEL CLERKS AND THE STAFF OF RESTAURANT ALL KNOW WHAT THEY ARE THERE FOR AND HOW TO DO IT WITH DISPATCH AND GRACE.

Good Value

I got a room here at the last minute for what I considered to be a great price. The room was a palace with a great view. Nice location near Independence Mall. I didn't really use a lot of the facilities during my short stay but check-in, check-out and staff were generally good. I did have an incident valet parking where there was no place to pull over and the doorman handling it was a bit surly, but he later apologized and was great the rest of the stay. I work with the public myself and I just chalked it up to too much stress at one time, and this only detracted slightly from my stay.
