Anonymous, 2006-05-15 Central location for dining and shopping. The service and accomodations were an excellent bargain for the money. Very helpful staff and the pool was well maintained. Rooms were modest but clean. Score 2 out of 5 price was right Anonymous, 2006-03-19 Work staff was lazy. Wouldn't get new towels for the pool and when asked for more breakfast items, they seemed put out and disguested with our request. Use it.My family and I were in need of a cheap hotel close to the turnpike. The Heritage Inn in Breezewood fit the bill. I was not pleased with the less than clean room however and found that behind the bed was an aspirin tablet on the floor. The room also while billed as non-smoking did have a smell of smoke and the air in the room was kind of moldy. All of the above being said, the room did fill its purpose and there was a free continental breakfast in the morning. We will not stay in this hotel again however. Score 2 out of 5 I would not go back JIll, Baltimore, MD, 2005-05-30 Heritage Inn, Breezewood, PA I was not impressed by this hotel. The hotel appeared to be a clean, nice place from the outside but after I checked in the problems, made themselves well known. The first room i went to was a "non-smoking" room with 2 full size beds. My reservations, clearly said, "King size bed, Smoking room". So, Iwent to the front desk explained the problem and she quickly found me a different room that fit the description of the reservations. After we had carried our belonging up 2 flights of steps(no elevator), we were quite suprized to find out that our key would not unlock the door. So once again I went to the front desk, when I returned, I was told I'd have to go to a different room, because she could not change the key card codes. I was fine with that, until I got to the new room. The new room was on the ground level and the room smelled like cat urine. I decided that I would just saty in that room, because it had already taken me 1 1/2 hours to get to this room. There was no alarm clock in the roomand the the drapes would not close. I set my cell phone alarm to go off in the morning as an alarm but unfortunatly, it was not loud enough to wake me. Check out was at 11 am and I had slept until 10:45. At 11 oclock I called the front desk and explained, that I had over slept because of the lack of the alarm clock, at that time I was "check out is 11, if your not out of the room in 15 minutes, you will be charged for another night". The overall room was clean, the area was great but there is much need for customer realtions skills. |
