Anonymous, 2006-09-10 Plenty of shopping nearby, as well as great places to eat.The front desk was courteous when I entered as well as when I left. The cleaning crew was not very good though; not enough towels, hair everywhere, smelled like cigarettes in a non-smoking room . . . Although the location and price are enough for the hotel stay. Score 5 out of 5 traveler friendly Joseph, 2006-05-21 Malls, resturants, Horseshoe Curve, Minor league baseball team and the convention center is within 3 miles.The Altoona Six hotel was just what I needed, a place to sleep and relax. It was located near a shopping mall and resturants. The staff was very friendly and if you needed something that you forgot they would bring it to you. The room was always clean and it was very quiet.
