a very nice play to get away to

The Wingate Inn was a very nice place to stay. The staff were friendly and very helpful with directions to activities in town. The breakfast was very fulfilling and there was a variety of things for different tastes. There was a fitness room for those like myself who exercise daily. The pool was nice and the hot tub. The rooms were comfortable and the shower had a nice massager on it. Overall, I would recommend the Wingate Inn.

Dooney Park was about 1 tenth of a mile from the room. It was closed but opening the weekend I left. Several resturants around.

The Charcoal Grill which is also a Bus Station was near by and they have awesomne breakfast at a good price.

We were pleasantly surprized at how lovely, roomy and comfortable the rooms were. The beds were so comfortable. This maybe the best experience of our travels through out the year. We stayed over the Christmas holiday weekend and it was so nice to come back to. Price per night was very reasonable. I liked having a microwave and fridge in the room. The hotel is right off the highway - Rt 78.

Dorney Park is but a short trip away, which will be something for me to consider in the spring and summer months.

This was my first, but not my last stay at The Wingate Inn, Allentown. All the personnel were friendly, check in and out effortless, accomodations outstanding. I was taking a test, the day after checking in, so I needed a good night's sleep. The bed was comfy! The surroundings were conducive to a good sleeping experience. I was unable to hear other guests moving about, which was very nice! I chose to pay more money for that quality, rather than go to a motel for half the price. I thought the breakfast nook was complete, and well stocked, with the staff assessing the area frequently. I felt the housekeeping staff did a great job. I brought my Lysol spray, but didn't feel the need to use it! Overall, I thought this Inn was grrrreeeaaaatttt!
