My expectations were not met. We returned late from a concert with the hopes we could grab snacks from the vending machines. Wrong. The machines (food and soda) were completely sold out. The ice had a weird taste. Upon checking in, we learned that it would not be a problem to extend our check out time. We made arrangements with the front desk staff. The day of check out, housekeeping was not happy that we were still in the room and the front desk person called and had a bit of an attitude that we had not checked out at the regular time. Phone calls to Guest Services and subsequent emails to the hotel management fell on deaf ears. Score 2 out of 5 uncomfortable and not very hospitable Christopher, 2006-10-22 bed was very uncomfortable, the room was made to fit the basics of a hotel room with out thinking of the person staying there. There was no iron no coffe maker the television was where you couldn't see it, [on top of the closet on a forward slant] I was hoping it didn't fall on me or my fiance. The staff deactivated my key so I couldn't enter my room, I had to go down and tell the front desk to reactivate it. And to top it all off, the carpet was wet. If I had not taken the print-out from my computer when I made the reservation, it would have not been honored. The room was very clean and comfortable but there were dogs barking most of the nite. I don't know where they were in the room next to us or where but when I told my husband I wanted to report it he said "We are only here one night so don't worry about it."
