Comfortable lodging

The Red Robin restaurant was recommended to us by the lobby clerk and was just one exit away on the freeway. It was very good!

The room was large and very nice. The hotel seemed new and, even though right next to the freeway, was very quiet with a grassy area/creek on one side. I have 2 young boys, six and nine years old however, that were disappointed there were no pay-per-view movies or video games to rent; neither was there a VCR to borrow from the front desk. The outdoor pool was full, but closed (understandable as it was January)and there was no hot-tub or jacuzzi. The lobby area was nice and the continental breakfast pretty good with toaster, waffle-maker with waffle batter, etc. available. My kids have wheat/dairy allergies so usually we can only do fruit or juice that usually accompanies a continental breakfast; the hotel only offered milk for the cereal and no fresh fruit or juice. There were also no dining facilities in the hotel (other than breakfast), but there were quite a few restaurants a short drive away. All in all, the lodging was quite comfortable, it just would be nice to have a few more ammenities, especially geared toward kids, and offered a more varied selection of breakfast items other that carbs, coffee and cow's milk.

If your a Starbucks fan there was one right across the street.

The La Quinta Wilsonville was quite comfortable and very spacious,which was a nice surprise.When you walk into the room there was a large counter with sink microwave and Fridge and lot's of cupboards,the beds were quite comfortable as where many aren't in most motels.The people that checked us in and out were very pleasant and if we were to go back anytime soon this is where I would choose to stay.
