Most recent user reviewsScore 5 out of 5 Relaxing time for the whole family Anonymous, Portland, OR, 2006-11-26 The stay was great for the whole family, including the Dog. The location was great for us with two kids we were able to sled & play in the snow around the hotel and have a good meal at the Brew Pub nest door. Very close to Skibowl & Timberline ski areas. The rate seems a little high but it is the pretty average. Score 4 out of 5 great morning breakfast Anonymous, Portland, OR, 2006-08-30 We ate at the brewery across from Mt Hood Inn. They had awesome pizza and the atmosphere was really nice. They had a football game going. They even had a place where you could sit and read a book if you wanted too.The lobby is very nice and comfortable. The room was okay. I was very surprised it didn't have air conditioning. The rain was coming and it was very warm that day. The location is fine not to far from the cute little town. Score 5 out of 5 Friendly and Helpful Anonymous, Kansas City, MO, 2006-05-27 Snow skining or white water rapid rafting are close by.Mt Hood Government Camp was all that you would want in a hotel. Great service, friendly people, and very clean. I would go there again if in the area. Also had nice a breakfast bar. Score 4 out of 5 Nice Room Anonymous, Milwaukee, WI, 2006-03-05 The Brew Pub next door has good Pizza!Upon entering the hotel, I was pleased to be checked in by a very helpful and pleasant staff member. Although the lobby wasn't much, it was open and clean. The dimly lit and a bit smelly hallways made me a bit nervous as we made our way to our room, but was very relieved to find the room clean, smelling good, with a good amount of natural light. Nice comfortable room with a window that opened for fresh mountain air. The hotel also has an indoor parking option(first come first serve) which we found very convenient as it snowed 3 inched overnight. Good location, especially if you want to go to SkiBowl. Score 5 out of 5 Comfortable and friendly Jill, 2005-09-04 Next door is a pub.The Mt. Hood Inn was a real find. The hotel was cozy and comfortable, and the staff, upon check-in and check-out, extremely friendly and efficient. The room itself was large with two queen sized beds and a pretty view of the forest out the window. The only thing missing was internet access. We attended a wedding up the hill at Timberline Lodge, a beautiful drive and only 15 minutes away, and next door to the hotel a great looking pub (though we didn't have time to try it out this time around). |
