it is near industy and ethnic small neighborhoods... good small Mexican supermarket 3 blocks away.

this family owned business was ok but it is a small cramped funky place. i would not return. very sparce breakfast options... much better places down the street..

It's what we needed!

1) The performing Arts Center and Downtown shopping is within walking distance of the motel. 2)The places to eat are numerous and within any budget.

The Best Value Inn was in a location very near to a place we had in mind to do our after Thanksgiving shopping. We did arrive a bit early and our room was not yet ready, so the desk person offered a better room with larger bed. The entire transaction took only a few minutes. We would stay again, and probably will.

The continental breakfast was a poor display of stale cereal and watered down juice. I expected more and while my trip to Eugene was great, the hotel was horrible.

Unfortunately not the best value in town

On 5th Street there is a small mall. The most excellent French restaurant was there. Marche`. If you like French cuisine it is a must see.

The Best Value Inn in Eugene was not a very good value. I dropped a pen behind the nightstand only to find at least 6 months (2+ inches of dust bunnies and other unmentionables) behind the nightstand. The ceiling, walls, and sink counter had obvious water damage that had not been repaired correctly. The sink counter slanted so badly nothing, not even a curling iron of flat brush would stay on it! The staff at the hotel was it's saving grace. This hotel is way over priced. I've stayed in "hole in the wall" one of a kind places that were more value for the money, cleaner, and better equipped.

didn't find anything except that it is fairly close to town.

Bed had a small blanket (full size) for a king bed and thin hard pillows...No airport shuttle...no place to leave car...no help with logistic problems...personel difficult to understand...

Re-visiting Eugene, Oregon

Convenient for attending concerts/events at the Holt Center.

This motel served our purposes in visiting Eugene for our daughter's graduation from Law School. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff took care of our questions but seemed to be over-tired. The location was conveneient for our purposes and easy to locate after dark.

A three-star hotel it is not, but at the rate that was available, it was worth the risk. The hotel is some ways outside of downtown. The complementary continental breakfast consisted of toast, fruit loops and Tang. The blankets, in a non-smoking room, had cigarette burns in them. There were dead bugs all over the ceiling of the bathroom. But the rooms were a decent size and even equipped with a mini-fridge and microwave (which were useful when preparing one's own breakfast in lieu of the free one!). You get what you pay for, and I paid very little, so...

Worst Hotel ever

Kind of bad neighborhood

I've been booking hotel for a long time but this was the worst one ever. Very small room and it wasn't worthy the money that we have to pay for that... I will never recommend this hotel..not even to a person I don't like
