There was mold & mildew in the shower. Bed frame was not fastened to the bed, so the bed frame kept banging the wall (this was before trying to lie down. If you pass the street you need it is easy to get back...When we arrived we found the Howard Johnson was under some remodeling. We stayed in a room on the second floor and the steps leading up were literally falling apart. The room we found small but we were only staying a couple days. To our dismay the bathroom had NO door and the mattress on the bed was worn out. When you moved on the bed you could hear the springs and the sag in the mattress was huge. Only 2 things could have been a little better. 1. A Tv in the bedroom 2. the mattress was sunken inthe middle so we kept sliding to the middle of the bed. But othet than that - EXCELLENT!!! Score 5 out of 5 Good Buy for the Money David, Oklahoma City, OK, 2005-08-18 Howard Johnson is a short drive from common shopping stores such as Wal Mart, K-Mart and Sam's Wholesale. There are also shopping malls within short driving distance.This establishment has a customer friendly staff who desires a comfortable stay while there. The rooms are comfortable and the staff monitors the rooms for cleanliness and a quiet stay. They are helpful in locating desired destinations. For the money, it would be difficult to surpass Howard Johnson here in Tulsa. |
