Never Again

The Ramada in Ft Sill's In my opinion was discusting. This room looked as if it had NEVER been cleaned ( wiped down the walls wood work etc.) or painted since the hotel existed. I didnt bring any of this attention to the hotels front desk or managment and if I would have been asked at check out how my stay was then I would have let them know. The outside of the hotel was even falling appart the drop off canapy area was missing some downspouts and bare wood was exposed. The maid servie was bad there was a cigarette butt behind the door when we checked in and it was still there when we left. I have taken pictures of this room and plan on contacting the address of corperate Ramada listed on my check out reciept.There was'nt anything in the area as a form of entertainment and resturants, althought the lounge and resturant in the hotel was very nice. But nothing of interest near by.

There is a mall about a mile away with lots of shopping and dining choices.

My Ramada Inn stay was very nice. The staff were wonderful, helping us find our way around town. The housekeeping service was fantastic, asking what we needed, always bringing in the little extras every day--soap, cups, etc, along with clean towels. The room was a teeny bit small for two beds, and the heating at night was a little up and down, but overall it was good, and I would go there again. It was right off the highway, which was helpful. It had an ironing board, iron, coffee maker, coffee, hair dryer, refrigerator, microwave. The only thing I wish the room had was a little table and two chairs. I would stay there again.

As I said the location was a plus, because of the distance to the Fort, but also cause it was easy to get to and close to shopping and eating facilities

The beds were comfortable and I slept like a rock. I also like the deep tub for baths. The location was close to Fort Sill, and that was important, because I was going there frequently. The housekeeping staff were very friendly.

Lawton Mall

My stay at the Ramada was very comfortable and relaxing. The location was great for visiting Ft. Sill as well as the local malls and even the drive over to Wichita Falls, TX. It definitely had the feeling of 'home away from home'. My sister took advantage of the exercise equipment and we had lunch at Cinders inside the hotel which was very good. If I'm ever in the area again, I will definitely be staying at the Ramada.

We were close to the army base

Staying at the Ramada Inn Lawton was a very unhappy experience. The first thing we noticed when checking in was how hot it was in the waiting area. Even though it was in the 80's outside that day there was no air in the waiting room. After we got to our room and "cut the air conditioning on" and waited for about an hour we realized that there was no air in there either! The front desk informed us that the air had been "cut off" in the entire building! We asked if we could change rooms but it would not have made a difference since there was no air any where. The front desk lady gave us a fan from the work out room. The carpets were stained through out the building including the hallways and rooms. In our rooms (we had two, side by side) the wall paper was peeling and there was mold growing on the walls. Also, the tiles in both bathroom ceilings kept lifting up evertime we opened or closed the bathroom doors. You could smell smoke from the smoking rooms which happened to be on both sides of our non smoking rooms! Overall our time there was unsatisfactory!!!!!!!!!!!!!!C

Hotel Renovation

Across the street from the hotel is a park with a walking trail as well as a play area for kids.

This hotel needs to be renovated. It rained during my stay in Oklahoma and for some unknown reason the carpet became wet and the room began to smell. The room was not totally clean because I found hair in the shower and the tub needs to be replastered. This hotel needs some serious renovations!The only good thing about this hotel was the location from the airport and a park across the street.

Attitude at front desk is disgusting.
