Most recent user reviewsScore 5 out of 5 Good location Anonymous, Minneapolis, MN, 2007-03-13 approx. 1 mile from the motel there was a shopping area with dinning and all other types of needs. We were very pleased with the location-next to the main road leading to Edmond central district. It was also near highway 35 which was our entrance point. The hotel was a basic hotel but nice for our needs; quiet without a lot of noise from pool or other areas. The beds were comfortable. There was some mold around the edges in the shower area and was not much for an exhaust fan in the bathroom. Score 5 out of 5 Clean and comforatable DOUGLAS, 2006-07-05 shopping, restaurants and interstate close by.Clean comfortable room; room had refigerator and microwave with coffee. It had a couch and coffee table and a comfort chair. The bathroom was spacious. It was just fine for our one day stay and the price was right. I would stay again. Score 5 out of 5 Extra room amenities Anonymous, Kansas City, MO, 2006-05-13 Shopping was only a short drive about 1-2 miles away and included SuperTarget, Lowes, Bed Bath and Beyond, Pier One, and others. Penn Square Mall in northwest Oklahoma City is a 15-20 minute drive. The Best Western in Edmond Oklahoma was a great traveling experience. We had a refrigerator and microwave in our room which is not common in this price range. Our room was nice in size - we had a king-size bed with sofa and desk area. Everything was clean and kept. Housekeeping staff did a great job. The continental breakfast was average except they did offer waffles. The location was great being 2 miles off interstate so there wasn't alot of traffic noise. The parking lot was full one evening when we came in late and had to create our own stall. Security was good requiring keycard to get in sidedoors 24 hours a day. Vending machines offered more variety than I have seen at other places. We didn't have time to try out the pool or hottub. The fitness room included only a stationary bike and a treadmill. Overall we were statisfied with our stay in terms of what we received for the price. Score 5 out of 5 Quiet Location Brian, Dallas, TX, 2006-03-24 The Best Western Edmond Inn & Suites is a very clean and well kept facility. The area is quiet but still very close to everything in Edmond and close to I35, but not ON I35. High speed internet access is a big plus, and was VERY easy to connect. Score 3 out of 5 Best Western Not the Best Shannon, 2006-02-20 The hotel had no elevator and we were stayed four days. We had to take our luggage up two flights of stairs with not even an inclination that hotel could or would help. Staff had little or no knowledge of directions to the surrounding attractions. As far as the room size,it had plenty of space. The breakfast offered was just ok. Nothing to write about there. Overall not bad. Better than my last stay at Comfort Inn. I will never make the mistake of going there again. |
