During your stay at Ramada Limited Airport East be sure to visit our well known Oklahoma City Bricktown area with SBC Brickyard Ball Park, Cox Convention Center and the Ford Center. While in Bricktown you will want to stay for the dining, shopping and night life. Probably one of the best value "hotel beds" I have slept in. My only complaint is the room reaked of stale smoke even though it (ans all surrounding rooms) were non-smoking. Why can't people obey the rules? The neighborhood wasn't the best, but it was convenient to the airport and surrounding interstates. I would stay here again. However, the bed sheets could have been cleaner and smelled better. The hotel was loud; you could hear people in the next room close their doors, etc. However, if you are looking for a reasonable place to stay with high speed internet access and a pool, it is great. Also, it has a great location and a free shuttle that will pick you up from the airport. The room smelled funky and the beds were terrible--the sheets came off the mattress as I slept and I am not a restless sleeper. The complimentary breakfast was just tolerable--tea water had to be microwaved in a styrofoam cup. They did have some nice fresh fruit though. It is conveniently located with regard to getting to and from the airport, but that was really the only good thing about it. Score 2 out of 5 You Get What You Pay For cathy, New York, NY, 2005-12-01 The military fort is nearby -- 1 1/2 hours.The Ramada was located near the airport and provides free pick up and drop off shuttle service to the airport. It is inexpensive, however you get what you pay for. It was old and run down. The hotel looked like a welfare hotel that you see in the movies. I was afraid that I was going to be killed in my sleep by a psycho breaking into the place. I put a chair behind the door, only to find that was broken. The shower head was too low and you need to bend down when you use it. This is ironic when I am 5 feet 3 inches. I should have spent the extra $20-30 at another place.
