Most recent user reviewsScore 5 out of 5 Review Allen, Detroit, MI, 2006-11-18 There is about everything you want/need besides dinning as well within a short drive of the hotel. It is at the turn pike I-80/90 ramps. Can't get much better than this.Score 5 out of 5 very nice Hotel Dolores, Buffalo, NY, 2006-11-07 Romm was clean and neat. It is a ghost town. Clear of congestion and plenty of parking, but that is because there are only about 20 stores in the entire mall. The Toledo Hotel & Suites is a standard hotel. The room was nice but the bathroom was small in almost every single way. The ceiling was very low and the toilet was very close to the bath tub. The good thing about the bathroom was the counter space. The door to the hotel room was a chore. Getting in and out of the room always seemed to be an unpleasant task. The key card would go in, the green light would come on but when you turn the handle it acted like the door was locked. You had to open it a certain way. Since i did not drink during my stay i cannot attribute my troubles to that. There were two Shuttle vans parked outside. When i asked if they were in service to and from the Airport i got a yes as an answer. Overall the stay at the Toledo Hotel & Suites was a positive experience. I will look to stay there again and i will refer them to friends and family. Plan on driving to anything good.Lobby, restaurant and rooms were quite nice. Outside appearance deceivingly dull and hallways a bit shabby. Neighborhood commercial/industrial in appearance. No great local amenities searby. But accomodations were good, especially for the price. Highly recommend to the value conscious business traveler. Score 4 out of 5 Amenities + or - ? robert, Chicago, IL, 2006-07-20 Bally's with pool and track. Free hotel van service. The hotel seemed rather cavernous - it was a weeknight and largely vacant. Check in helpful in pointing out free health club usage at local Bally's, with free van service. Free internet access available, but only one station available, in a business center large enough for three stations. Attractive pool with fitness room available. Rooms themselves were typical in size, age, cleanliness and decoration. My only complaint was a mysterious ammenities fee supposedly added to all bills. There had been no previous mention of this invented charge. The clerk could provide absolutely no explanation of the fee and refused to remove it. It transformed an otherwise pleasant experience into a negative. Score 1 out of 5 Review Anonymous, 2006-07-03 very dirty and elevator very bad and no clean pool towels and bed was wobbley an bed small and broken elevator flimsy Score 3 out of 5 Convinient location Anonymous, 2006-07-01 The Toledo hotel is located conviniently off the exit from I-80. Its probably less than 1/2 mile from the exit, so it worked great for us as we stopped over enroute to Pittsburgh. The hotel is just run of the mill average hotel, nothing to write anything home about, but not bad either. |
