Most recent user reviewsScore 2 out of 5 Needs updating Joan, Bend, OR This is a tired old motel in a less desirable section of town. No good restaurants close by. Furniture in rooms was mismatched...bedcovers worm & tired. No continental breakfast. I would not stay at this facility again when there are more desirable hotels even closer to the airport. Score 5 out of 5 Park & Ride Gail, Charleston, WV Staff were very nice. The shuttle driver who took us to the airport for a 6 a.m. flight and then picked us up when we returned close to midnight was WONDERFUL! Offered to clean the ice and snow off our car when we returned. He also counselled us when we returned re: anticipated weather between Columbus and Charleston, WV. He could have supported our staying at the Hotel overnight but advised that weather was due in early that morning which might make it hard to get home. Very much appreciated. Score 4 out of 5 Attentive Staff Anonymous, Indianapolis, IN, 2007-03-04 Nice choice of restaurants nearby.Clean and efficient hotel. Great staff very helpful. Good location for the airport. Score 4 out of 5 good value james, 2006-11-05 the staff was very accommodating. breakfast was good. the room clean and roomy. Score 3 out of 5 Hotel in residential neighborhood Jose, San Juan, PR, 2006-10-26 Hotel is located in a residential neighborhood and there are basically no facilities around. The Hotel offers Continental breakfast but no other lunch or dinner facilities. The staff is friendly and helpful, but the location is very dissapointing. Score 5 out of 5 My review of Ramada Columbus East Airport Anonymous, 2006-10-20 Airport nearby.Would stay there again. Score 4 out of 5 Slow response to service Anonymous, 2006-10-08 Overall, the hotel was comfortable but service was somewhat slow/nonresponsive. The location was not in the best district. Score 5 out of 5 nice location Anonymous, Washington, DC, 2006-09-19 My over all impression is this hotel is good for travel. Good location, nice and clean rooms, friendly staff, but check in was a bit slow. It's close to the airport, next to highway, easy to travel. However, there are not many good restaurants near the hotel. I think it would be a pretty good choice for business travel. Score 5 out of 5 Quiet for my mother Carole, Washington, DC, 2006-09-18 I was traveling with my elderly mother and 20-year-old nephew, and the desk man was considerate in giving us rooms next to each other. Incredibly, we heard no noisy teenagers partying or running down the hall on Saturday night. All of us slept well -- the No. 1 priority. We were impressed that my mother had a grab bar in the bathtub, a rare feature. On the slightly negative side: cobwebs on the ceiling over the heating unit, a problem with cable TV (no CNN or ESPN2 for my mother the Yankees fan)and no opportunity to get even a light meal in the hotel. (The continental breakfast was good, though.) Score 5 out of 5 Very nice Anonymous, 2006-09-04 Easton Town Center is within 10 miles and it is one of my favorite places to shop. also my favorite chicken wing restaurant (Roosters) right around the corner. The Ramada Inn was clean, and the employees were very nice. It was in the area in Columbus Ohio that I wanted to be in, to visit with old friends and I didn't have to drive all over the place to get to the locations I was going. It was close enough to the airport but not right at the airport. I also enjoyed the continental breakfast each morning and didn't have to go out for breakfast anywhere. The dining room/lounge is closed, due to being operated by an outside source, that didn't think the hotel is busy enough at times to have it open. I was there during the first OSU Buckeye game and the hotel was full. All in all, it was a nice experience and I would return to that hotel when visiting in Columbus. The room was very nice, all that I needed and I did like the fact that the vanity area was in the bathroom and had a door on it. There was a nice hair dryer and ironing board . |
