We were there for a funeral and we were very close to the interstate and to the mortuary.

The hotel was very clean, the room a nice size, with all the little extras that makes it nice to be away from home, the fridge, microwave and hairdryer! The only complaint we had was the heat was either to hot or to cold, but we didn't complain to them to give them the opportunity to fix it. The staff was very helpful with directions and when my husband forgot his razor, they were very nice when he asked for one,

Be sure to check out Magic Mountain, just a few minutes away, if you're traveling with children. Rod's Western Store is also nearby!

The Best Western Columbus was neat, clean, and family-friendly. The room was laid out nice and included a refrigerater and microwave, which was very nice because we were traveling with a toddler! We also liked the idea of the indoor and outdoor pools for added activities. The location was perfect, not far from all the sites. We especially liked the convenience of having a restaurant in the hotel.

Extremely noisy nightclub

I would never stay at the Best Western Columbus North again, due to noise from an in-house nightclub that is apparently out of hotel management's control. Despite the fact that it was physcally quite far from the nightclub (adjoining the lobby), our room was actually vibrating from the bass. First the front desk told us that he could try ask the d.j. to adjust the volume, but that the d.j. was usually not very cooperative. Then he denied that there could be a problem with the nightclub at all, saying it must just be some other guests (but no offer of help with that!). When I finally went downstairs to investigate, there was bedlam in the lobby, and in many of the hallways, and the music was deafening. This was not a special event, but apparently a typical weekend, with music not scheduled to end till 2 a.m. I'm not a person that has EVER complained about noise in a hotel before, but this went way beyond acceptable, unless you were just looking for a place to crash after drinking at the club. We had to switch rooms twice before finding one far enough away from the club and partiers. The rooms were adequate, although the beds felt old and lumpy and the carpets in one room were wet. Did I mention I'd never stay here again?

There are many restaurants located on the same street as the Best Western

The Best Western was covieniantly located about 10 to 15 minutes from downtown Columus, Check-in was fast, and the room was clean.

Polaris Mall and Easton Mall were both a short drive from this hotel.

The Best Western Columbus North was very convenient to the convention I attended. The room had the basic necessities such as TV, table, 2 chairs, hairdryer, microwave, coffee maker, small refridgerator, iron and ironing board.

Dog friendly with a large pool!

Pizza Hut

The two best things about this hotel for us were the convenience as a pet owner and the size of the swimming pool. We were very happy to have a room with a walk out patio where we could easily leave to walk our dog. We also enjoyed the junior olympic pool although the pool area itself could use some updating.

I arrived at about 6:30pm, easy check in, walked across the street for a bite to eat, went back to the room, watched a movie, slept, woke up and checked out. No real positives, no real negative. It's a hotel room!
