Most recent user reviewsScore 5 out of 5 My review of Hyatt Regency Cincinnati Bev, 2007-03-02 Good restaurant options within walking distance. This was OK. The food options were limited and there was no concierge floor. Friendly, helpful staff made up for the downside. Comfortable bed. Score 5 out of 5 Spacious and Cozy Michael, Cincinnati, OH, 2007-02-03 It is close to Cincinnati bars and shopping. Saks is even connected to the building!Because I am 24 and still live at home, I always have my friends from out of town stay at the Hyatt Cincinnati with me. It is always comfortable, clean, and convenient. It is a little expensive for Cincinnati, but it is worth it for the most part. The rooms are a good size and you are able to play music without anyone complaining. I especially love how they include the Ipod players in all the rooms now. Score 5 out of 5 very family friendly Jodie, Indianapolis, IN, 2006-08-05 The Great American Ballpark. The room was great and the beds fantastic. I especially liked the location - we were able to walk to the Great American Ballpark. My girls enjoyed the pool which opened early and closed late. It was just a great experience and we look forward to staying there again. Score 4 out of 5 Back to the Eighties Eric, Louisville, KY, 2006-07-29 Decor needs serious updating especially in the dining area. The hotel saw its best days twenty years ago and got stuck there. If you do not mind the decor, it is a good place to stay downtown. Score 2 out of 5 Hyatt Regency Brenda, Richmond, VA, 2006-07-26 Great shopping next to the hotel. There is a Macy's, Saks, and many other fine botiques. This Hyatt Regency was very disappointing. The hotel was probably the "gold standard" in the seventies, however, it is in need of a complete renovation. The housekeeping of the hotel is substandard. The hotel is not clean. The first room I was given was horrible. The room had an odor of mold, smoke, and a general lack of ventilation. The Manager moved me to the club floor where the room was better. However, this hotel needs a professional, thorough cleaning. The hotel bed was not that comfortable. The sheets were fair. I prefer the Egptian Cotton, 600 to 800 count. The towels were fair. I would not recommend the hotel. I did not eat at the hotel restaurants. I did have a muffin, fresh fruit, and coffee in the Club Room which was nice. Score 5 out of 5 clean, comfortable and great customer service Dieidre, Orlando, FL, 2006-07-05 The Skywalk allows you to walk directly from the hotel into a mall, without having to deal with traffic. If you appreciate solitude or breathtaking views, lounge on the balcony by the pool, look toward the sky and count the stars, or your blessings. The Hyatt Regency Cincinnati was clean, comfortable and provided great customer service. The Hyatt personnel were friendly and knowledgeable about their city, providing precise directions to my destinations. Room service was prompt and the food was both delicious and the appropriate temperature. This is a great hotel for the family; however, for night owl like myself, I would prefer if the pool and restaurant would remain open until at least 2am. Nonetheless, my daughter's attending college in the area, so the Hyatt will definitely be my second home for a few years! Score 4 out of 5 Room service food is of very poor quality Rodney, Charleston, WV, 2006-06-14 Try Mortons or PigalleGood hotel, eat elsewhere, especially breakfast. Score 4 out of 5 Nice Hotel - interesting surrounding Anonymous, Salt Lake City, UT, 2006-04-30 The hotel is easy to find and get in and out of for visiting other areas of Ohio. The hotel was nice, clean and easy to find. The rooms were good and the dining options fine. I did not venture out of the hotel because I was only there at night and the neighborhood did not strike me as overly active or safe. Overall a nice hotel. Score 5 out of 5 Opening Day Treat Anonymous, 2006-04-03 Avoid the temptation of room service.I was surprised and pleased to get a good rate to stay the night before opening day in Cincinnati. Everything was very nice. We could have lived in the king size bed. Room service breakfast was pricey but we loved the convenience. Great weekend at a great hotel.
