We came in from Corning NY to go to the State Fair. It was easy to find and the Fair was about 10 min. away. We were quite satisfied. There were several restaraunts right nearby. Plus a Dunkin Doughnuts next door and a Mobile station and store directly across the street. That was all very convenient.The room was fine, and kept clean. There is not a pool, fitness center, etc. They do have a very nice continental breakfast. However, not every room has a refrigerator. I requested one two times and never received one. In fact on the second request, they wanted me to go to the front desk the next morning between 7-7:30 to speak to someone. Not very convenient and I did not bother. In the last five years I haven't stayed in a hotel where a refrigerator was not a standard feature. Other than that, it was okay. Thruway entrance within 1/4 mile make this accessible to all Syracuse and middle of NY state.Fine accomodations equal to nearby properties at twice the price. (based on recent stay) Denny's across the street with a good Italian restaurant next door. On the other side was a donut shop with extremely good coffee.The Ramada Inn in Syracuse was fine for my stay.Restaurants were within walking distance and the staff was very helpful. Score 5 out of 5 A good value Joseph, Albany, NY, 2005-10-23 A Denny was directly across the street.Everthing regarding my stay at the facility was excellent, very friendly employees, and I enjoyed the continental breakfast which was served. |
