Excellent location for university events

The Parkview Hotel of Syracuse,NY was a great value. The recent renovations are all done in good taste. Very nice clean and spacious room. Comfortable bed and excellent dual showerhead in the lovely bathroom. Easy walk to S.U. Carrier Dome. Staff were helpful with directions and dining information. My only complaint is that our room was next to the elevator - which for some reason was running up and down all night and the sheer mechanics of it were very noisy made it difficult to sleep! My recommendation would be for the hotel to better insulate the walls of the rooms adjacent to the elevator. My recommendation for anyone reserving a room would be to request one as far from the elevator as possible. Other than that we thought it was a lovely hotel and would stay there again if we need a room in Syracuse (as long as we're not beside the elevator!).

The Parkview Hotel was comfortable, clean (the bathroom in particular was immaculate) and is perfectly located for people that are planning to spend most of their time in Downtown Syracuse. It was just a very short drive from some of Syracuse's best night clubs, bars and restaurants. I would stay there again without any hesitation!

this hotel nearby Syracuse University!!

The parkview was very comfortable, the room seemed much larger than most with a desk area and a table and two chairs. I liked the fact that the bathroom was separate from the vanity area and there was a sink with a long counter and there was adequate space for hanging clothes and they provided two suitcase stands. The location was very good -- it was really only one long block to Downtown Disney and there were restaurants very close.

From the moment we stepped into the Parkview, we were thrilled. It is newly renovated in a tasteful, inviting high quality way. Our room was immaculate, spacious and comfortable. We would have paid three times as much for this room in Manhattan. The hotel is 5 minutes from Syracuse University and an ideal place for visiting family. Loved the Parkview.

A very good restuarant called"Phoebe"

Hotel wasvery basic. Only one chair in what was a spacious room. There was no place for my wife to put on her make up. The bathroom did not have a shelf to put out her make up and the desk did noy have her mirror. Our request for a second chair was ignored. The cafe did not serve breakfast.

We walked around Armory Square and asked one of the locals for a good restaurant. He recommended "Pastabilities". Great choice! This trendy, upbeat restaurant had a jazz band and great food and service. If your in the area I highly recommend this restaurant.

We found this hotel meeting our needs. Located in the busy town of syracuse, the hotel was easy to find. The hotel is small and quaint. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. No restaurant, just a small coffee shop. Many wonderful restaurants in the area though.

Great hotel for the price

This recently opened hotel in a former medical building is convenient, well designed, clean and a great buy for the price. The only flaw noticed during the stay was that the shower soap dish was installed at a slant and the soap kept sliding into the tub. This is my 4th hotel/motel I've stayed at in Syracuse and without a doubt the best.

Downtown Syracuse is 2 blocks away. The University is a 5 min. drive.

The hotel is very close to the university and the rooms are extremely comfortable. The hotel has been recently renovated and looks great! The beds are so comfy and the rooms are very large.

Syracuse University is very close and it was a great place to stay while at the University.

this was in a great location for staying while visiting my son at Syracuse University. The price was very reasonable. The accomadations were exceptional. We will be staying here again on our next visit.

The Parkview Hotel in Syracuse was more than I expected it to be. We stayed there to attend the Jazz in the Square. It was not in walking distance to the event but we took our car which was OK because it cost only $5 to park. Except for the view out the window, it was Great. We had a view of the parking lot but we didn't care too much about that. Next time I'll ask if I can have a room with a view of the park across the street. The bed was soooo comfortable and cozy ... nice quality matress and sheets with a puffy comforter. The room was so clean and everthing was brand new. Even the fixtures in the bathroom were classy looking and the dual head show was real nice. Even the way they arranged the towels on the rack made it feel like a 4 star hotel. The TV was the new Flat panel type on the wall which could have been a little larger...but the picture quality was great and they had HBO. Down in the lobby they have a huge screen TV and comfortable sofas with a fireplace for the winter. Customer service was great and helpful. I will definitly keep going back as long as they Keep up the good work and offer the great rates!!
