Friendly staff and they are very easy to work with. no complaints from me! The hotel was very nice and clean. The staff was helpful and curtious. Also for the money the hotel was a bargain and I would def stay there again in the future. Score 5 out of 5 Comfortable, Good Loaction, LCD TV Mark, Harrisburg, PA, 2005-09-05 Large Shopping mall is about 15 minutes away.This was my first stay at the Genesee Grande Hotel in Syracuse. I vist the area often and have seen this property before, but I normally stay at national hotel chains so I never considered it. The hotel is attractive on the outside and in a convenient location. The lobby and dining area are very nicely decorated. Check-In was smooth. Staff was friendly. The room I had was a little on the small side (two doubles). It's an older building so size seems to be smaller than todays rooms. The decor is top notch and very comfortable. I travel often for work and this is the first hotel I have stayed at that had a LCD wall mounted flat panel TV - very nice. It also frees up dresser space. My only issue with this stay was that on arrival the bathroom was not clean. I contacted the front desk and a housekeeper was dispatched immediately. Things happen, so this would not stop me from staying at this hotel again. Excellent shuttle service eliminates the need for a rental car. Room service shuts down too early. |
