Room was very clean. It was like a small appartment. I just bought stuff from the supermarket and put it in the fridge and cooked on the stove. No need to go to restaurant. It is not very luxuous but it is in a quiet neighbourhood and once again, very clean. Score 4 out of 5 lower economy class Fabian, Innsbruck, 2007-02-23 close to Central Park & Times Squareif you want to stay close to Manhatten and if you need to travel economy class, than take it, but don't expect a great comfort and a great service and dont worry about a noisy heating or about windows that don't really close. Score 4 out of 5 very convenient/nice neightborhood Anonymous, 2007-02-15 The location to the subway was great. The units had cooking amenities and dishes. I felt like I lived there rather than a visit. A couple of blocks away was shopping and dining. The area felt very safe and comfortable to move about.Overall my experience was good except the TV didn't work. I spoke to the front dest twice about it but no one ever addressed the issue. It would have been nice to have it working late night and early morning. Other than that, I would stay again. I loved the location. Score 1 out of 5 Terrible Hotel dennis, Springfield, IL, 2007-02-14 good dining in area...I constantly travel for work, and this was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in! It was dirty, grungy, and so noisy at night I could not sleep. Don't stay here!!!!! Score 1 out of 5 Watch out Anonymous, 2007-02-12 Not really a hotel but a converted apartment house. Room had radiator heat and boiler was under repair. In 15 degree weather, room could get quite cold. While there, local tv showed neighborhood protests of apartment-to-hotel conversions. Unless mistaken, showed this hotel and rooms. Unclear if tv report indicated such conversions were illegal or legal but undersirable. Score 2 out of 5 great business amenties Anonymous, Atlanta, GA, 2007-02-11 The hotel was in a great location for dining, shopping and for entertainment.I stayed for 4 nights and 3 days the cable went out and was unable to to be fixed during the rest of my stay. Also, I was disappointed by the actual amount of space in the room. Score 3 out of 5 My review of WooGo Lincoln Center Apartments Carol, 2007-02-11 There is a grocery store in the same block as the hotel. The Woogoo Lincoln Center Apartments offer a great price for a New York City Hotel that is close to Times Square. The place is located 3 blocks from the subway station and 3 subway stops from Times Square. The place has paper thin walls and apparently young students stay here because they were loud late at night. The water pressure in the shower was weak and could only get lukewarm water from the shower. I was told I could get an alarm clock but when I asked they had none. I was unable to get a wake-up call. The apartment did have a small refrigator, a toaster, a microwave, and a new thin TV with a DVD player. There was someone on duty in the office 24 hours a day. There is a grocery store in the same block which is convenient. Value wise the hotel is a good deal. Score 4 out of 5 Convenient and good value for the money. Anonymous, 2007-02-11 Cheaper to buy beverages from the grocery store next door.Units at the WooGo Lincoln Center Apartments are individual apartments complete with a kitchen. Located next door is a grocery store; within 15 - 20 minutes walk are a variety of restaurants and cafes; Times Square and Central Park are not that much further. A great value for the money. |
