And the location was quiet, even though a block and a half from Times Square. Amenities included complimentary bottle of wine and cocktail ticket and free wi-fi. Concierge was very helpful in finding eateries outside of upscale hotel restaurant. Score 5 out of 5 Wonderful Mid-town Hotel Anonymous, Indianapolis, IN The Iroquois New York is a nice size for personal service and has a wonderful restaurant, Triomphe, just off the lobby. Breakfast was much better than at a more famous neighboring hotel. Lunch and dinner were the best. An extremely helpful and courteous concierge assisted with dinner reservations and other directions around the city. The room was a very comfortable size. Bathroom was also very well appointed with lots of towels for the shower. Definitely would stay there again. Score 4 out of 5 beautiful, small luxury hotel Dawn, Pittsburgh, PA, 2007-02-06 The Iroquois is in the heart of Midtown....walking distance to the Broadway theaters, Times Square, Rockefeller Center, Radio City Music Hall & countless restaurants.I would definitely stay again, however, I would choose a larger room. The standard room and bathroom are extremely small. Score 5 out of 5 A small taste of Europe in New York Theresa, 2007-02-04 A joyfull walk to fine dining and the theatre. The staff was friendly and very willing to accommodate your needs. The room was excellently arranged to use every ounce of space for comfort and enjoyment. Room amenities were an added plus with a touch of European flair. The Iriquois is definitely a boutique among hotel chains. It's one of the little secrets of NYC. The staff was very friendly, helpful & professional. We chose to upgrade one step on our room choice. It was quite small but very well appointed. Lots of pillows, down comforter, plasma TV & turn down service with chocolate!!!! The bathroom was also quite small but very nice, bright & clean with wonderful towels & bathrobes. We will definitely stay there again. |
