Nice Place to stay

Visit the subway station on 33rd and Lexington to access the rest of the city

The Dumont was a nice hotel to stay at. It is very close (2 blocks) to a subway station so access to all of Manhattan was right within our reach. Thw workout facilities on site were very nice and the hotel staff was very professional. The room was very large, it was a small suite with a desk, foldout couch, etc. It was definitely worth the money. We would stay there again.

3 blocks from amazing shopping. Also convienently located near transportation so getting anywhere is fast.

The Affinia Dumont was a very comfortable hotel in a convenient, safe neighborhood. The staff was so accommodating and friendly. The junior king suite was enormous! I felt guilty having all that space to myself.

There are many ethnic restaurants nearby.

The Affinia Dumont was a great find! The location was in walking distance of almost all that New York offers. The room was large and quiet. I understand that all rooms have a full kitchen as did mine. There are grocery stores very nearby to stock the fridge. The people at the front desk could not have been more efficient and nice. I felt comfortable as a women traveling alone. All in all the experience was great and I will stay again next time I am in New York.

It's about a 15 minute walk from Times Square

I had never heard of the hotel, but as a fan of old school style New York hotels, this one has all of the comfort and style that I personally look for. I hate the trendy Euro-trashy hotels so if that's your taste, this may not be for you. But I was very happy.

We were able to get our car out of the parking garage promptly. The location is in easy reach of the Queens Midtown tunnel which we used to visit family in Brooklyn.

We were very pleased with the Affinia Dumont's friendly staff. The rooms are clean and nicely furnished. The location is convenient and the restaurant next door served well-prepared and reasonable meals. The only drawback was a balky heating and cooling unit which made it hard to regulate a comfortable temperature. This was a minor issue, however, and we would definitely stay there again.

The Affiniti Dumont was very clean. The employees were so polite that I wondered what the hotel had to offer it's employees to keep them so happy in their daily work. Loved the little refreshments in the lobby. We had a fabulous view of the city and the size of the room is something to point out to any one looking into staying in NYC. The work out room could have been a bit larger, but worderful just the same. Kitchenette had everything to stay in and cook. Like a little bonus in an upscale hotel. We had a problem with the tub stopper and they were there in a jiffy and cheerfully fixed it We will be back again.

Try the hotel's restaurant's prime rib...the best!

The Affinia Dumont is close to EVERYTHING no matter what your reason for visiting New York is. There are numerous restraurants on the same street. If you want to save a little, there's a fully equiped kitchen. The rooms were very clean and confortable. The staff very courteous.

Great place to turn 50

The Barking Dog right next door serves some great dishes. Lobster ravioli - ya can't go wrong!

and I did. Very accomodating staff. I explained it wasa a special day and would like a view and they gave me one. I'm a local new yorker just doing a night on the town, but it's in a great location for just about every occassion.
