Corning museum and the pretty town.

There was a very soft spot on the floor near the bathroom that with any kind of weight one could go right through, needless to say I was glad to get out of there! the only thing that made it bearable was that we spent a nice time in the city of Corning. I say ICK to the Budget in n Corning

My review of Budget Inn - Corning

Corning is a quaint town. I enjoyed the shops, and restaurants.Watkins Glen is a wonderful place to enjoy the scenery, and wine tasting at numerous wineris.

The hotel is a very old hotel. It needs alot of renovation.The bathroom: The toilet was wobbly; looked like there was mildew/mold around base of toilet; the shower curtain was dirty; there was no room on the vanity to put anything; and vanity was delapidated. The bedroom area was clean and okay. The hotel lobby was not a cheerful; but rather cold, dark and immediately gave me the impression of a delapidated place. I had the feeling that I was staying at the Bates Hotel in "Pyscho".

Good hotel for the price

If you planing on palying golf or just hitting some balls there is a coarse right next door.

I have not stayed in many low cost inn's but at the time this is all I could find at it was very low cost. So for what I paid I got my moneys worth. And the nice thing it was quite.

Oh My Gosh

The star ratings don't really apply to low per day stay hotels. Unless you know the area you should check out the Chamber of Commerce or CVB sites and see what they recommendation for hotels.
