The Budget Inn in Bath, a Magnuson Hotels affiliate, is located right off southern Tier Route 17, exit 38. We are only minutes from the Ira Davenport Memorial Hospital, Corning community College, and Hunt Country Vineyards. We are only 6 miles east of Hammondsport, the home of the Curtiss Museum of Flight and the hub of New York winemaking.

The room size was greatalong with the fridg. microwave and large bed. I was some what disatisfied with the bath area. No shelf or towel bar in bath tub area and no bath vent. Katherine, Philadelphia, PA, 2005-11-13 Gas stations, Dunkin Donuts, many well known restaurants and fast food places within a mile of the inn, and the VA Hospital (which was why I was there)was only a bit over a mile away. Access to the Interstate on/off ramp was simple and less than a half mile away.I was totally amazed upon entering the room, at the size of the room and the appointments. I had expected, for the price, a very small somewhat uninviting atmosphere. Instead I found a large room complete with pleasant decor, small table and two chairs,a little refrigerator and microwave, and a wardrobe closet instead of an open alcove. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was clean,and I was not at all disturbed by noise of other travelers in nearby rooms. Compare all of this with my last trip to Bath when I stayed at the Days Inn right next door, for exactly twice the price and less than one third the comfort and cleanliness, to say nothing of the lack of ammenities such as the refrigerator, etc., well let me just say, I'll not be staying in another Days Inn again if I can help it. Budget has everything I needed, down to and including a hair dryer! Score 4 out of 5 Budget Inn in Bath,NY Carole, 2005-08-21 Keuka Lake has many winery attractions that are worth the short drive.The Budget Inn lived up to its name. It was a modest one day rate close to the wine country of the Finger Lakes. The room was very clean. However the overall condition of the inn was average and some repairs needed to be completed. If you ever find the ice machine let us know. Score 5 out of 5 RACE WEEKEND Robert, Detroit, MI, 2005-08-12 DOWNTOWN CORNING IS A GREAT SITE FOR SHOPS AND REASTURAUNTSHOTEL WAS ONLY HOTEL AROUND FOR MILES THAT HAD VACANCY AND WAS NOT GOUGING CUSTOMERS DURING RACE WEEKEND. HOTEL WAS SMALL BUT CLEAN AND COMFORTABLE WITH A NICE LIVE IN STAFF. |
