Score 5 out of 5 Good value Beth, 2006-09-04 This hotel was centrally located in a nice neighborhood. The room was very clean, with nice, but not fancy, furnishings. There was a refrigerator and a microwave which worked out very well with small children. It was an excellent value and I'd not hesitate to recommend it. Score 2 out of 5 not impressed at all...the desk staff was a good representation of what followed Barbara, Buffalo, NY, 2005-10-22 Our daughter had a college game nearby...but we were happy to find a Bass Pro Shop nearby!I realize that we didn't pay top dollar for this hotel, but it was rated 2 stars and that was certainly stretching it! It really needs a lot of help. The staff was "dirty" upon checking in...so I really hoped we could sleep in the room. Their advertised breakfast bar was poor as well Score 2 out of 5 Cleanliness is an issue Marlene, Pittsburgh, PA, 2005-09-25 Very good American Diner 2 blocks away. Driving distance to Bass Outlet Store, a unique experience within 2 acres.I loved the location of this Day's Inn Hotel. It was extremely convenient to Downtown and to restaurants. Throughout my business career, I have stayed @ many Day's Inns, along with various other hotels. (Mainly the Day's Inn on Front Street in Harrisburg, PA). This is the first time I have stayed @ a Day's Inn that the room was not clean. The floor had not been vacuummed and there was mildew and mold above the bathroom door, along with the bathroom in general not being particularly clean. I had to wipe down the small table in the room before I could use it...it was sticky and dirty. There was a dirty hand towel hanging with the clean ones. Also, the advertised continental breakfast buffet was virtually non-existent. There were day old mini donuts and bagels with no spread. I was very disappointed because I had not experienced this in the past with any Day's Inn. I travel both for business and pleasure and will not plan on staying @ this particular Day's Inn again unless the situation is looked into and remedied. Score 4 out of 5 Modest accomodations Anonymous, 2005-09-12 There's a restaurant next door, but we were away from the motel both nights, so didn't try it.This motel is on the threadbare side. Staff was friendly enough, but not very professional. Room cleaning was haphazard, and one day didn't happen. Continental breakfast was okay on the weekend, but on the weekday was very meager and disorganized. It is a 'low price, low value' venue. It is not bad, but people should understand that it's a bit on the shabby side.
