Most recent user reviewsScore 1 out of 5 worst stay ever michele this motel 6 was a disgrace, it was filthy, everyone who worked there was rude there was no elevator to get to the second level so they switched my room. then there was a yappy dog next door whining and barking for about two hours in which time i called the front desk and the clerk was very rude. i called there twice they didnt take care of it. so i went next door and talked to the owner of the dog and learned the dog was unattended for those two hours. about an hour after that the clerk called my room and wanted to apologize all too late because she woke me up. this was a business trip and i was exhausted the next day. Score 4 out of 5 It was fair for the price Tomicka, Rochester, MN There are a number of quick places to eat very close by the hotel. My stay in the hotel was fair. The room was clean, as well as the bathroom. I did however notice a very strong smokey odor through out the hall ways. The room had no strong odor, neiher did any of the linens. I will suggest that the bed linens be thouroughly rinsed before use. I did experience a mild rash on my face and neck after sleeping in the bed linens. Other than that all in all my stay was satisfactory. Score 2 out of 5 Not the best experience Charles, Atlanta, GA, 2006-08-07 Cheap and close the the Buffalo Airport.Check in took longer than it should have. The employess were not very friendly. The ice machine was broken on the frist floor and a large section of the carpet in my room was wet from the air conditioner upon arrival. Score 5 out of 5 Good value for money Ashutosh, 2006-07-03 20 mins. drive to Niagara fallsOverall a very good experience. The front desk greets people well. But unfortunately on that day(saturday after noon-July 1st)-their systems were not up and running and it took some 1 hour for us to check in. Less no. of staff and no place to sit down for this long wait is bad. Everything else is really good. Score 5 out of 5 Great Value Aimee, Rome, 2005-12-26 Fuddruckers is next door, they have the best hamburgers.I was very pleased with our stay at the Motel 6. The room was clean, and comfortable. The bathroom was very spacious, and the water pressure in the shower was strong. I also liked that we were able to control the temperature in the room. The hotel is located minutes away from the Boulevard Mall and dozens of restaurants. Checkout was at noon, so we didnt have to rush when leaving. I was very pleased, and would stay there again next time we travel to that area again. Though it is not close to main place Niagra, but it is just 20 minutes drive away from main spot. Good food places and shopping places nearby. Hooters is just attached to the motel -- good place to hang out too. Maple rd looks to be main rd in Armherst. Overall it is good cheap option who wants to stay overnight to visit Niagra falls. Score 3 out of 5 Clean hotel Anonymous, 2005-09-05 There is a mall nearby on a short drive . Good for shop alcoholicsI stayed in the hotel and i liked the room which was given to me. I was expecting clean comforter in my room but they were so bad that i removed them and kept aside. Over all it was okay hotel but for the money i spent i expected more Score 4 out of 5 Good value for the money.. unless... Anonymous, Burbank, CA, 2005-08-02 Right next to Friendly's, Hooters.you manage to book a hotel earlier than I did. No alarm clocks, but they do have wake-up calls. No shampoo, no hair dryer. Free coffee in the AM, no food. Friendly staff, but after-hours check-in is scary... through a side window, where you're cramped into the foyer (area between outside door and inside front door) with truckers and all sorts of strange characters. I understand the staff wants to protect themselves, but they make their other guests uncomfortable. Recommended for the price, it's not terrible, but definitely should not the first choice. Score 5 out of 5 Family friendly Anonymous, Shreveport, LA, 2005-07-31 Variety dinning places are within few miles. This is family friendly motel with kids stay for free.
