Score 4 out of 5 excellent customer service made the difference Jose, Sacramento, CA, 2007-03-04 We were a bit apprehensive about booking two rooms at the hotel because we usually stayed at other hotels. When we arrived we were delighted that all of our requests were accomodated and we were upgraded to queen size beds from double beds without even asking! The agent at the front desk was efficiently speedy and did it all with a smile on her face. Score 5 out of 5 Easy to Get Around Linca, Reno, NV, 2007-02-24 The Grand Sierra was nicely decorated for Chinese New Year, which made the stay even more interesting. The employees were friendly and helpful. Check-in went fast. We enjoyed a late night snack and our room was clean and quiet. The parking was one of the nicest elements since it was so close. The hotel has a movie theater, shopping and a bowling alley, which makes it a great destination. Score 5 out of 5 Review Anonymous, Minneapolis, MN, 2007-02-21 Shuttle Service from Reno airport is a real time saver.Score 5 out of 5 Resort Review Anonymous, Fresno, CA, 2007-02-20 casinosThe GSR is located just far enough from the Reno Strip to enjoy the separation and still allow for a short drive to hit the larger casinos. There was plenty to do at the Resort ...from the gambling, game room, shopping center, to the theater. Score 5 out of 5 Review Charles, Memphis, TN, 2007-02-19 airportScore 4 out of 5 Under construction... Anonymous, 2007-02-05 The gaming area of the hotel is being remodelled. With the ownership change, parts of the hotel is going to condo! BUT they are also making a lot of changes in the casino & adding a new building with even more shopping AND a large water park. I was not at all interested in buying into the condo - time share idea but I still like the hotel. Once you're inside, there is hardly any reason to leave until time to go home. |
