This was my first experience staying at the Atlantis Casino Resort, or any casino resort for that matter. I must say it was a really good experience. Everything was great! the room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The entire resort was well maintained. Parking was good all around the hotel. The view of Reno, with the snowcapped mountains was divine. The location was great, within 5 minutes of the airport and close to shopping malls and Starbucks (gotta have my cafe mocha's). Did not have the kids with me but there is an indoor and outdoor pool, a nice spa, and a well appointed exercise room (which I did use), as well as a large game room for the kids. Although I am not a gambler, I did investigate the casino. It was spacious and well maintained and the bar service was excellent. I would certainly recommend this resort to a friend.

I have stayed at the Atlantis before and have always enjoyed my stays. Being in the customer service industry myself, I can appreciate the helpfulness and professionalism of the Atlantis's employees. I recommend the Atlantis to everyone!!!

Atlantis Hotel

Everything was with in walking distance. The Black Bear Reat. Great value, good food.

Everything at Atlantis was very 1st class except The Motor Lodge. The room was old, was not sound proofed and the door let to much air in. Other wise great.

Just on the east end of town, the other casinos can be seen and a great view of downtown is just minutes away.

From check-in to check-out things were outstanding. Friendly staff made the stay that much more enjoyable. I was in Reno, so I can't say much about the room. What I saw, it was very pleasing. The location made it simple to navigate around town and most important, easy to find my way back.

The room was fine and it was serviced well. The rest of the hotel staff left me feeling like I was not important to them. We dined at several of the places and each time we had long waits and poor service. We played many of the slots and each time we had to stop servers going by to ask for a drink. In addition a couple of times they acted like we were bothering them when we asked. I nerver really felt like I was a guest there most of the time I just felt like I was not really wanted.

Short drive to other casino possibilities.

The room I was issued was right next to the cleaning office/room. I was there for two nights and every morning around 7 am, doors were slamming and people were talking way to loud. The cleaning service was knocking on the door at 7:45 am as well. I believe this is way to early to be cleaning rooms. The cleaning service was done very well but just to early. I would also recommend not placing people in the rooms next to the cleaning office/room. I was satisfied with everything that the hotel had to offer other than the room placement.

The hotel staff at the Atlantis was very helpful. The free entertainment was wonderful. Our Tower room was very spacious and the beds were quite comfortable. Toucan Charlie's Buffet was great even though a little pricey. The Purple Parrot restaurant has outstanding banana splits. This is a return trip for us and would recommend the Atlantis to our friends. The location to the airport makes it a plus for the frequent traveller. I do recommend renting a car and seeing the beautiful mountains and lakes nearby.

This hotel is within a few miles (within 5 minutes) to Reno's best shopping on the southern part of the city just off the 395. THe hotel has fabulous dining, but if you're in the mood for the typical chain restaurants, they're all a few blocks south of the hotel. 20 minutes from Mt Rose ski resort.

The Atlantis is a beautiful hotel that is well known for its fabulous dining options. Our stay was in the motorlodge portion of the hotel, though. We opted for a room where we would not have to walk our ski gear in and out through the lobby/casinos each of the three days we were there. Another nearby hotel offers a motor lodge with its own parking directly under the units. At the Atlantis, parking was a nightmare. It is a popular hang out on the weekend so we had to park in the north 40 and one of us would have to run out and get the car, bring it back to the building to load up the ski gear. The outside of the motor lodge at the Atlantis is in need of a major overhaul. Our rooms entrance door knob looked as though it had been beat by a hammer several times - scary. Inside the room is fine and well cleaned. There seemed to be frustration with many over the poor parking conditions.
