The Avi grounds are gorgeous. Even tho the weather didn't accomodate, I would revisit. The room could use a make-over, and deep cleaning. The smoke smell in the hallways and elevators was overpowering. Check in and check out was extremely efficient.

A great place to stay

The Avi provided one of the best combinations of reasonable price and excellent hotel accomodations found in Arizona. This is especially true considering that it was prime time vacation season in Arizona. Everything you need is on site, including a variety of dining choices and parking facilities. For the price, the rooms are well designed, spacious and comfortable. It's nice not tripping over or running into furniture that's packed into a small room with a big price. The Avi gives you large rooms at a small price.

The mall in Laughlin was only a short drive from the Hotel which was convenient for those who wanted to shop.

Our room was on the ground floor which was fine, but the numbering of the rooms was very confusing. Seemed to skip from one number and then start down the hall with another number ending up with our number which should have followed the number at the end of first hallway. Didn't quite understand how that came about. Room was comfortable for the four of us sharing the room.

This hotel is away from the town of Laughlin. It's a short drive and there you have several casino's, a multitude of eating options and entertainment.

The AVI Resort and Casino is a comfortable hotel with the usual amenties but, also has golf. Although, we only stayed two nights and didn't take part in these options it's nice to have them available. The rooms were average and kept clean. The casino was very noisy but that's partly because it's one of the smallest in the area. The location of the hotel is nice if you want to be away from the traffic and congestion of Laughlin. It's a place I would recommend for cost, clean rooms and nice staff. The restaurants had a good selection and the food was good.

There is a river crossing right at the hotel.

A great value, especially during the week. Everything about the hotel was good, except for maybe the choice of restaurants in the casino. There is a movie theater in the casino also, which was a plus. Keep in mind that the hotel is not in the heart of the city, atually, it's pretty isolated. If you're looking to spend a lot of time at the casinos along the waterfront, be prepared to do some driving to get there. Gambling was not our main interest, so the hotel fit us just fine. Will probably stay here on other trips to the area.

Oatman is a nearby ghost town that is a must visit.

I thought the hotel was clean compared to others in Laughlin. And even though it is not on the casino row, it is only a few minutes ride from anywhere. Also, it has a nice new theater and Kids Quest if you have kids. However, the arcade is a bit lame.

if you didn't get enough gambling in the hotel you can go back through Laughlin to "The Strip" and gamble some more.

We were very pleased with our visit to the AVI casino and hotel.WE recieved a wonderful deal for our amenities and room.There were many restaurant choices, a great outdoor pool, and of course the gambling.

Great Pool

This resort has a great pool area that includes a large pool, beach, bar and cocktail service. The room was large with a great view of the river. The only draw back we could find was that many people in the casino were smoking pipes and cigars and the ventilation system wasn't adequate.

a great getaway

this casino is in the dessert and being from alaska it was great with a view of distant mountains was a treat for us. a short drive to Laughlin or Bullhead city.

my time at the Avi was really good I have already recommeded it to several friends. The rooms were clean and comfortable.
