Central to everything. The Venetian is an excellent hotel in a very convenient location. Rooms were huge. Everything was Perfect! Score 5 out of 5 Great Hotel Ryan, Dallas, TX, 2007-03-11 The Venetian is one of those hotels that you hear about. It exceeded our expectations. The rooms were unbelievable and the service good. The only minor complaint would be the drink service in the casino. It was very difficult to get a waitress to stop by. Score 5 out of 5 Everything I Dreamed It Would Be Chastity, St Louis, MO, 2007-03-10 The Venetian is within walking distance to Treasure Island, Caesars Palace, the Mirage, the Bellagio, Harrahs, and various little shops and places in between.I have always wanted to stay at The Venetian in Las Vegas. It was everything I thought it was going to be and more. The hotel and rooms are beautiful and spotless. The staff was extrememly friendly, courteous, and extremely efficient with any request. I would definitly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to have a first class experience in Las Vegas Score 2 out of 5 Very disappointed! Tammy, 2007-03-08 There's no excuse to charge premium prices for a room that was as shabby as the one we stayed in at The Venetian. They are currently in the process of remodeling, and I understand that the charge is the same for remodeled rooms. Our room had paint peeling from the walls in the bathroom, and the wallpaper was coming off the walls, also. The shower door was broken and was gaping open every time we showered- cold, drafty showers are not what I expected! The towels were hard and scratchy; one of the reasons I chose the Venetian is because their bathrooms are supposed to be so luxurious. The couch was so worn and dirty that I refused to sit on it. The mattress and sheets were not up to par, either. While I will admit that the hotel is lovely and worth visiting, I would not recommend staying in this hotel to anyone! Score 4 out of 5 Fine Hotel, Good Staff, some changes needed Anonymous, 2007-03-08 Great location... the mall is acrosss the street, and you are right in the middle of a casino bonanza! This was our fourth stay here, and we love the location as well as the variety of services, restaurants, shops eetc in the hotel. We found the staff to be very kind and accomodating throughout the hotel and casino. We upgraded to a larger suite for business purposes, which turned out to be unnecessary. My complaints primarily have to do with the rooms, specifically the beds. In these days of Heavenly Beds, etc. I found the bed uncomfortable, the feather pillows were of poorer quality, and a comforter would have been a welcome addition. I will think twice about staying here for only this reason... I'm sure other hotels have these features. Additionally, the bathroom amenitites were irregular.. on our last day there, we received some amenities that were obviously more upscale (sorry, the name escpaes me), but hadn't been provided during the rest of the trip. Also, for some reason our keys didn't work the last night and we had to wait for 15 minutes, at 1:30 AM, for security to unlock for us. Then when we called for additional keys and asked they be slid under the door so we could go to sleep, we were advised that they woouldn't fit. We waited another 25 minutes for someone to come with the new keys, and when they didn't, I finally tested a key under the door, it worked and they then agreed to do so for us. Score 5 out of 5 Beautiful hotel with large comfortable room and a very accommodating staff Marjorie, New York, NY, 2007-03-08 I had purchased tickets to see Cirque du Soleil's O show at the Bellagio Hotel which wasn't too far to walk to from the Venetian Hotel. The Venetian Hotel was one of the most beautiful hotels that I have stayed in. The room was large and comfortable with a sunken living room that included a sofa and large coffee table as well as two upholstered chairs, a dining table, a bar, and a desk with a fax machine. I loved the bathroom which not only had a long counter with a double sink but also a separate vanity area to sit and put on your makeup. You also had the option of using the bathtub or the glass enclosed shower stall. Again, it was large and comfortable with plenty of mirrors and hooks to hang your clothes. There were many places to eat in the hotel and surrounding area. I love to walk and explore the many sites and shopping areas and did plenty of that during my stay. I requested for a late checkout and ended up staying an additional half day at an added cost. They were very accommodating in every way. Score 5 out of 5 My review of The Venetian Hotel Lawrence, Detroit, MI, 2007-03-06 The Venetian is simply the best Vegas has to offer. Staff, room, restaurants are all exemplary. Score 5 out of 5 Spacious and friendly Steven, Denver, CO, 2007-03-06 Great selection or eateriesThe Venetian has a reputation for being one of the finest hotels in Las Vegas. Well deserved. Suites are clean and comfortabe and ammenitites are plentiful. Restaurant Bouchon ranks among the very best in Las Vegas and possibly the country. GVreat Stau - great Hotel |
