The Westin Casuarina Hotel and Spa Las Vegas is located steps away from the famous Las Vegas "Strip" and nearby mega-resorts. Our upscale hotel includes the Hibiscus Spa, a 20,000 square feet casino, an outdoor year around swimming pool, Starbuck's, a full service restaurant and luxurious rooms where you'll find Westin's signature Heavenly Beds. Our hotel is centrally situated just 1 1/2 miles from the McCarran Airport, 1 mile from the Las Vegas Convention Center, and a block and a half from the Las Vegas Strip.
Most recent user reviewsScore 2 out of 5 Problems with our stay at this hotel Anonymous nice casino in hotel within walking distance of the Las Vegas Strip. The Westin Casuarina Hotel & Spa, Las Vegas, LAS VEGAS, NV was very nice, but when we checked in our rooms (two rooms), condoms were found in the nightstand drawer next to the bed in my daughter's room. She was pretty disgusted and called the front desk and someone came and removed them. Then, when trying to shower, the hot water was not working. After complaining to the front desk again, we were moved to a room where the hot water was working. We were disappointed to say the least, especially since we paid so much and drove so far to try to enjoy ourselves!! We will probablystick with our usual 3-star hotels from now on because we seldom have any problems. Score 5 out of 5 Splendid Vegas Vacation Getaway Kathryn Treasure Island, WinnsMy room was extremely nice with the most comfortable bed I'v even slep in. The bedding is better than I have at home, I even thought about buying some to take home as a souvinare. The hotel is one block from the strip but centrally located alone the strip so that you are just a few minutes walk to Bally's Casino, Paris Casino, Ceasar's Palace Casino and many more elegant casinos. I stayed three nights and never only thought about staying at another hotel/casino in vegas. I will make my reservations there again when I go back in March. Thank you Westin Score 3 out of 5 BAD Anonymous, 2007-03-06 ROOMS NEVER WAS CLEAN Score 5 out of 5 Excellent Overall Anonymous, 2007-02-27 Bally's is across the street and the had a lounge as well as different shows available. They also had a large gaming area and plenty of shops. Also, there are plenty of small markets in the area if you just wanted a beverage or snacks, etc.The entire Westin staff was extremely customer service oriented. The rooms were spacious and very clean. The hotel was situated one block from the strip, which was perfect, because you were close enough to walk, but far enough away not to hear all of the noise from the strip. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Vegas. As a matter of fact, we will be going back next year...if not sooner. They managed to find us a room, but it was on the 3rd floor and a corner room with no view and a full size bed. We called the front desk and they told us they were very sorry but would make up for it if we came down to the front desk the next morning @ 11am. We did and they upgraded us to a room on the top of the hotel (the 17th floor) with a great view of the strip! The king size bed was very comfortable also. The front desk employees were so nice and friendly. A great place to stay! And it is off the strip, so it isn't quite as wild. Will stay there again if we go back. Score 4 out of 5 Conveinent location Susan, Tampa, FL, 2007-02-24 Cross the street, if it is cold, and cut through the sportsbook of Ballys to the strip. You can get all the way to the Paris casino indoors that way.The Westin Casuarina was perfectly located in the middle of the strip. It was one block behind the Ave. which was nice. The staff was friendly and very accomadating to our needs. The room had a great shower with two heads and the beds were very comfortable. The only suggestion is make sure to book a room to the front of the hotel, because we went with friends and their room was to the rear. It was extreemly noisy from construction workers, early. The trash man came almost daily again in the early AM. very loud. The elevators going down were a nightmare to wait for. Sometimes taking 15 minutes. We would of taken the stairs but we were on the 11th floor. Score 5 out of 5 My birthday Robert, Los Angeles, CA, 2007-02-11 The Westin is brand new, just behind the old (and famous) Flamingo. It's ON Flaming Blvd., one short block off the Strip. So you can easily walk to Caesar's, Paris, and, in fact, all the hotels in the mid-strip area. A half block away (behind the Imperial Palace) is the station for the tramway, so you can get anywhere. Perfect location.I turned 68 on 2/10 and my two grown daughters and my wife took me to Las Vegas to celebrate. When we arrived at the Westin and walked in, something was different. Later, we realized that it was a NO SMOKING hotel - in Las Vegas!!! Wow. What a treat. No haze and coughing fits. A nice young man met us in the lobby and asked if we were checking in. When we said "yes," he led us to a desk and went behind it. He was the check-in person. We got our two lovely rooms immediately. They were beautifully appointed. The bed was a joy. We had two great breakfasts in the main restaurant, just off the casino. It had leather chairs and was really quite elegant. We took the buffet, but then were able to order eggs ("over-easy") just to our desire from the kitchen. Score 5 out of 5 A great place to go! Marcia, Reno, NV, 2007-02-11 A two minute walk to THE STRIP. Three miles to the airport. Across the street- Bally's and the monorail. In the heart of everything but with easy access to free parking.Westin Casuarina, Las Vegas This is the nicest hotel we have stayed in comparable to the finest European hotels. The staff were incredibly attentive and friendly. The casino was looser and the atmosphere better than the biggest hotels in Vegas. I almost hate to let other people know about it because as word spreads, I'm sure the hotel will be booked months in advance. |
